Room smells clean, TV works fine, fridge is operational.  Minimal noise from highway outside which is not noticable with AC running which also works well.  Friendly staff.  Microwave is absent from room but the one in the lobby works great despite being an older unit.  Outlets in the bathroom would be nice but are not an absolute necessity.  Wifi signal is very strong and unbelievably fast.  Nothing is blocked either so streaming movies and television is done in HD easily.  Can't beat the price.  No evidence of any insect activity present.  I would know immediately considering I am blood type "O" and have sensitive skin.  Would recommend to friends.

Did not have any of the issues described in previous comments by other reviewers

This is not a luxury accommodation, but for the price it was clean and VERY close to the freeway.  Many restaurants close by.  The bathroom door did not shut properly but there was a big minifridge and a nice TV.  Rooms were smallish but ok for 2 people.

Take that how you want!!!! But this motel had me feeling some type of way. That's all. I've never had quite an experience like this. WOW. If you are ever in Utica, please take the time to Visit. The room was a mosaic, beautiful carpet colors. Wildlife? Pristine. But DONT FEED THE RACCOONS. 

AMAZING. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE

I often stay at budget hotels, so don't expect luxury at a bargain price. This place had a few things that bothered me. First of all, it LOOKED as if the pillow cases had not been changed. I can't say for sure, bit never have questioned this in the past. I couldn't get the internet to work. Called the manager and he came to the room immediately (appreciated that), but then he was a bit condescending towards me (guessing because I was a woman) and acted like I didn't know what I was doing or knew how to sign onto Internet (!!!). He ordered me around a bit, "Give me your computer!", "Give me your phone!", "Come outside!" "Walk over here!" - which felt very uncomfortable, while continuing to address me in a condescending manner. 

You get what you pay for.

This was the first motel we came across as we left the highway so we decided to give it a go. The room was not clean, desperately needed a vacuum and a good scrub of the walls. The bathroom looked to be recently renovated but the floor was not clean and there were dried urine drops on the floor in front of the toilet.  We had been driving for hours and were ready for bed when we noticed all this. We weren't about to get dressed and change rooms at that point. Might as well have because the noise during the night was incredible.  People yelling and talking loudly right outside our room. The people in the room above us stomped around continually all night long. And I mean stomped!  We finally got up and left early in the morning.

Noisy and not too clean

Yikes, last minute hotel. Accepted pets ($10 more)  small and kinda musky smell. Sheets and blanket seemed clean but stained ick. Please invest in new linens would make a big difference. Shower was ok,  TV was not that great. No coffee in room. Probably would not recommend unless really in a pinch!

Eh, not that great 

I had stayed here for just under 2 weeks due to a flood. The two owners treated me terrible from the start. I kept getting calls to my room every few days from the owner that I was "banging/making noise" keeping others up when in face it was NOT ME, but the people in the room next to me. The owners eventually called me (I was asleep), and started SCREAMING insults in the phone and to get out... I tried to reason with the two owners, but they literally yell over you, don't let you talk and belittle you. Every night I stayed here I was kept up ALL NIGHT LONG INTO EARLY DAY by the people next door who who clearly getting high/drunk every darn night. It was ridiculous! I found out through many people after the fact, that this motel is where druggies and convicts are placed. Please PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! PLEASE! Especially if you are a woman and staying alone,. The owners are absolutely FILTHY the way they treated me! I will eb filing some complaints to try to get this place evaluated atleast for possible shut down due to dirty tenants/drug users taking over.

Disgusting Treatment!

If you choose to stay here.. PAY CASH!!!  DO NOT use your credit card.  I checked in at 12:02am and at 12:45am they manually ran my card and charged $300 under RS Cleaning thru a cell phone or ipad device. The address for the cleaning service wasn't the same as the hotel. We couldn't even stay the full night because the smoke detector kept going off, beeping and saying "Battery low" every time I was about to fall asleep.  I'd say this happened every 15 min or so. When I called to find out how this was authorized, they said the signature was a squiggly line.  I never sign that way. I never signed off on any cell phone or ipad either when I booked the room. As I go through the reviews, I see they are notorious at charging ppls cards. I will definately be calling my credit card company again and giving them that information.
