Folks need to realize that this motel is functional and fine for the money.  If you want a suite with sitting area and desk, swimming pool, spa, concierge, etc. look elsewhere.  Folks can't fairly compare this hotel to an upscale hotel.  It is a basic hotel room for the night.

This motel looks a little rough on the outside, but everything worked and clean on the inside.  Beds were clean with no evidence of stains on the mattress or sheets.  Carpet looked okay.  Bathroom was clean. Air conditioner worked well.  The bathroom had a supply of travel packs of shampoo and soap.   

The decor of the room was industrial.  Didn't bother us.   Exterior and room walls are painted cinder block. Paint was clean and looked reasonably fresh.  No paint peeling or stains.

We paid $70/nt as a last second reservation.  Room was clean, hotel was quiet and easy access back to the highway.  It was a little off the beaten path to get to, but didn't appear to be in a an unsafe environment.

For an inexpensive, clean simple hotel room for a night, this place was fine.  If I was in the Rome, NY area and needed a inexpensive, clean room for the night, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Decent place for the money

We booked this through a 3rd party website and when we got there, they didn't have our reservation. Thank God they didn't, because the place was a hot mess. There weren't any other hotels/motels available, so we ended up driving home that night.

Do not stay here!

Absoltuley horrible conditions dirty beds smells horrible ..sketchy mattresses thrown with garbage in the back parking lot the images on the pictures on line are not at all accurate ... Just dirty . I would rather sleep im my vehicle then ever step one foot in that motel again.it need to be shut down it's terrible my children are sleeping nor me or my family in that disgusting condition s we didn't care we didn't get a refund and went to quality inn where's it's CLEAN for 180$! But we'll worth it I hope you get shut down red carpet inn you have false advertisement I should have taken pictures !

Hotel in total disrepair.  Black mold in bathroom.   Expired fire extinguishers.   They should give you money to stay in this place.  The room was supposed to be smoke free but it smelt like there was a cigarette convention in room.    Check in was super slow too.

This place is gross.

The owner is very rude and tried scamming us. We booked 2 rooms with booking.com (who afterwards were excellent) we turned up late and we had had sold one of the rooms, but then blamed it on booking.com shouting at us "booking .com is not my boss" and seemed very angry that booking.com charge him commission.

I've never wanted to punch someone so bad.

Owner is rude and aggressive. The owner place is filthy avoid at all costs.

Avoid avoid avoid

Rude owner. Instead of queen size bed I got room with one twin bed and space for another one. In the next room somebody listen really loud music and it was almost 11pm when we checked in. 
On my complaints I was told that this is only room I could get (but I saw not more than 10 cars near building). About noisy neighbours I should call to police by myself, he won't do anything. And at the end he added: leave my hotel if you don't like what I gave. So I did it ;)

Skip it

We are giving a "one" rating because that is the least that you can give.  We did not even stay - the desk staff was Badgering and VERY, VERY RUDE. It was 1:30 in the a.m when we had arrived and even though -  we had a reservation - the counter person is telling us that he had no rooms available - while right in front of us were 8-9 room keys.  We Informed him that we had a reservation and to never mind that we were going elsewhere - magically an open room appeared.  Well, at this point, because of the badgering and lying we did not trust the person so we did not stay there.

WARNING:  DO NOT DO IT!

Keep in mind that we do not usually stay in 3 & 4 star hotels. My husband and I compared this to the Bates Motel. The walls are moldy.The room was filled with mosquitoes. The building is very run down. The toilet was not connected to the floor.The curtains were falling down. Someone wrote "it is a decent place for the money". This is not true at all. Even the picture in the ad is deceiving. Please, take my advice, and stay anywhere but here.
