Very quaint 1950’s model motel. We loved the nostalgic look. Outside entrance, with key! Clean, comfortable bed, nice towels. No frills, but clean and very friendly, informative staff. Would stay again. If this hotel were on Route 66, it would stay booked 24/6!

Good. No frills, but takes you back to the 50’s!

Front desk was very helpful. The rooms are spacious.  The fire pit and grill made for a fun family time. This motel is very close to all attractions. Will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Niagara.

Great Time

Loved it! Had a BBQ for the guests on the 4th and such a nice place to watch the fireworks. Owners were friendly and accommodating, pool was refreshing. Had everything we needed, it's low key, and that's the best. 

Fun, friendly, and accommodating 

Property was quite, clean, in good location and reasonable price. Just 7 miles from the falls. Room is small but is not a problem because it’s clean and you have tv, fridge, microwave, a tub, working area and comfortable mattress. The owner takes a very good care of us. What I love the most is the back yard, you can relax and see the beautiful Niagara river.

Perfect place to stay

We had a fantastic stay and the rooms were so clean.  The owners were very pleasant and had a party for all the guests to watch the fireworks along the riverfront.  The pool closes at dark, but it was quite refreshing.  There is plenty of parking and it's easy to find.  It's definitely worth the price.  We're going again!

Hidden Gem

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, lots of pillows and nice linens, all in a pretty location. What more can you ask for? The Anchor Motel has 10x the charm of a chain hotel - and it was SO much nicer to stay along the Niagara River than in the downtown area. 

Our room was surprisingly spacious. Next time we visit Niagara Falls we will definitely stay here. 

A great place at a great price. 

Cute, clean, and reasonably priced especially compared to the area. Owner was friendly and helpful informing about the area. Room was tidy and had no issues. Definitely the cheapest in the area. Property also had nice water view, and a pool which we didn’t use. Overall would stay again.

Good value motel

Recently my wife and I had 3 nights booked. Unfortunately we had a serious car accident and we had to cancel. Sadly we booked through booking.com (never again!!) Booking.com claimed that the venue refused our refund, which was not the case. Thankfully the venue to refund us. We never got to stay there, but was impressed with their service.

Stayed with my sister on a long weekend.
Location was central without being right in the middle of things. Perfect for covid-19 times. They have a huge backyard in the Niagara River.

Bathrooms are dated and the windows let in some flies/ants/moths but that's just the grassy /water area. 

Hosts took her time to go through maps and attractions which was extremely helpful. All recommendations were excellent.

Would stay again.

Great people and location

This motel is about a 15 min drive from Niagra Falls.  It is a budget motel so don't expect anything fancy, but the room looked and smelled very clean and the beds were very comfy.  The owner was very friendly and informative and recommended places to eat...which we took her up on and the restaurant was excellent.  Highly recommend if you are on a budget!
