Little Inn By The Bay Newport Beach

What was good

I liked that it was 5 min walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. The lobby of the hotel has better coffee and machine that brews a stronger cup.

What was bad

This will be a huge list: Unfortunately this was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in, it was the loudest location ever, there are fast moving busy roads on both sides of the hotel with noisy buses and trucks and a noisy liquor store on the 3rd side. Maybe it was the location of my room but there were people with clickety-clackity clomping shoes up and down the staircase that is built next to one of the walls of my room, it sounded as if somebody was wearing those old wooden clogs from Deutschland. The walls and ceilings are thin I could hear people stomping around every time they decided to get up out of a chair or get up off their bed. All the showers in the hotel rooms around me connected to my walls and ceiling sounded like the showers were fully running in my room, I never heard pipes that loud before. The room was stuffy unless you put the AC on and the Dina’s our AC was so noisy and woke me up many many times in the night while it changed its mode. There’s a bench sitting in front of my room with people sitting against it and their heads against my wall laughing and talking and joking around making lots of noise I could hear every word they were saying and sitting there smoking all night so opening my windows wasn’t an option also because of all the noise on the roads. The mattress was horribly uncomfortable, I think it has some kind of pillow top on it but I felt like I was sleeping on a dome in the middle of the bed, as if two giant people were sleeping on each side and made deep pocket impressions so sprawling out wasn’t an option otherwise I would have parts of my body on a big lump which is really bad for my spine. Otherwise the young man working the front desk was very very nice very polite very helpful in helping to investigate the noisy guests above my head. He gets 15 stars!! I love that places to eat and shops were just in five minute walking distance! The rating for location I have to put something,the hotel wasin the middle of everything
