Good place to stay. Was surprised by the cleanliness and room amenities. Also very friendly and staff and front desk was extremely helpful. Had a very nice stay, would stay again. The price was also great!!

Budget Host Inn-pleasantly surprised

Stayed here a while ago and I have to say the front desk manager and housekeeping guy were terrible! The room scared the daylights out of me! I absolutely LOVE to travel and I enjoy the small out of the way hotel/motel/b&b's! For the price I don't expect much otherwise I would go spend more to stay at a place that offers a lot and is staffed by a few dozen people! I do expect the need for cosmetic upgrades however the feel of the room should be clean! The new front desk manager Zeke, the house keeper Richard and the owner who does come everyday (and actually works) Anil are an AMAZING and unusual group! They are approachable, they care about the condition of the rooms both cleanliness as well as mechanical and cosmetic! I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay this time (1 week) and have been assured by both Zeke and Anil they fully intend to begin remodeling the rooms very soon! I can't wait to stay after they start and have pictures of the new updates!

NEW STAFF

The room was filthy, had not seen a dust rag for a long time if ever. Carpet was dirty, very dirty around edges of walls/floors.  Many stains on the walls, especially bathroom.  Only one lamp worked near bed and switch was broke, had to unplug & plug in to turn on/off. Beds sag, bed spread had numerous cigarette stains. Sheets had multiple stains, didn't look clean.  Ran out of hot water in middle of shower, had to rinse off in COLD water.  Towels & wash cloths were so thin we could see through them, and didn't look clean. No soap available, no tissues.  No coffee or anything in morning. Only positive was good TV & channel selection. Manager offered refund after we looked at the room but we didn't have time to try to find an alternative so felt like we were stuck here.  Location was good, amenities don't exist. Manager said all the better rooms were taken.  I booked the room over 2 months in advance, maybe they could have saved us a better room, if one exists??  Bottom line: Disgusting motel!

WORST MOTEL EVER!!!

The motel has a dimly lit parking lot and looks a bit run down from the outside.  It is directly underneath the final approach path to MSP; great if you like airplanes, less so if you like sleep.
The saving grace for me was that my room had flooded earlier in that day and they had no other room available.  I went on my way to another hotel.

Cut Short, Thanks Goodness

Don't ever stay here! No hot water, no A/C or fan to remove old smoke stench, filthy tub, leaky toilet ran every 15" all night, unfriendly office staff. Non-refundable reservation or I'd never have stayed. Have stayed at other Budget Host Inns that were very nice.
