rooms was clean and stocked sufficient  staff was helpful amd friendly and they seemed to like their job  . will stay again thank you for making my stay a good one .. pool was nice also  will stay again thank you again

Good service

This hotel is clean, efficient, and quite good for an overnight stay on a road trip. Interstate 64 is very rural, so hotels near the highway can be hard to find. This one is just south of I-64. It is close to a couple of fast food places and a buffet restaurant, but not much else. We used the indoor pool but it was shallow, not much fun for the kids.

Good overnight stop

We stay here often.  Very affordable and welcoming to everyone who enters.   Yes needs a few touch ups but it is clean.  The owners greet you and treat you like family.   Has a small pool but great for kids.  Nice little work out room.  Right off highway but still quiet.   A must stay 

Clean safe and easy in and out 

I was booked at this hotel by someone else and have stayed before. My room was clean and comfortable. We wanted to sit outside and discovered the area behind the hotel had a shaded patio with tables and a grill. We asked about using the area and was told to make ourselves at home. We ran to store which was just down the road and grilled some steaks and enjoyed some potato salad from the deli. Felt like our own back yard and much better than the fast food burger. Breakfast has improved tremendously since my last stay and the staff is much more friendly. Kudos to the owners for listening to their guests. Will see you next month.

Hidden gem

I have been staying at this hotel for many years. I have watched it go through many changes. Staff, bedding, outside appearance, inside renovations, even the name. But I can truthfully say that all of those things have only made it a better experience. The owners are very sweet people and committed to making this a truly quality hotel. It is very convenient for me where it is located and knowing the comfort that awaits me is a pleasant end to my hectic day. I highly recommend this hotel to the vacationer and business traveler alike. I will always stay here whenever I am in the Evansville area.

We stayed here for several days with several other families for a softball tournament.  The beds were comfortable, breakfast satisfied the team and they enjoyed the pool.  All staff was nice and the owner even let us wash our team uniforms in the hotel washer when the guest pay washer was already taken one evening.  Would definitely book this again for the team. 

More than Expected!

The hotel itself was clean and well taken care of.  The manager was nice.  We were, however, woken up at 2 am when a couple of young people were talking very loudly outside out room where the drive through for check-in is.  I asked the girl on the night shift to ask them to be quiet and when she went outside they all laughed like it was a joke that anyone should be upset about being woken up at 2 am.  Then the rude young girl and her boyfriend (or whoever it was with her) were right next door to us making lots of noise.  I had to go knock on their door and they proclaimed, "we paid for this room!" as if the rest of the guests who sleep at night did not pay for their rooms.  Given, this was a comp night for us because we are Gold members of the Choice Rewards Program and we use the Choice Hotels often.  I was told by the night girl that the air conditioning went out in the rude young people's house and I never heard of getting a hotel when it is only 80 degrees outside.  Made me wonder what was really going on.  I wondered if the front desk girl knew them and was giving them the room (for who knows what reason).  I talked to the manager's wife the next morning and she was not aware of any of this.  I expressed that my intuition was telling me that the night girl was not an honest person and she said she would check into it.  She was very nice.  The night girl needs to get her act together and I imagine she will be looking for a new job.

Don't allow guests to check in at 2 am and loudly wake up everyone in the hotel please.

Workers were nice and friendly there.  The rooms could use detail to cleanliness. Desk chair at the bottom, looks like it hasnt been cleaned in years. Toilet seats, wobble all around. Overall the rooms were good and place was quiet. Here is where it goes downhill...breakfast.  We were there Saturday and Sunday and both days breakfast was late going out, first day by a half an hour. This locations does not have sausage or bacon like the other ones. Why?? To save money??  Never been to one where that was not an option.  First day eggs were cold, once they finally got out. Biscuits and gravy was cold.  2nd day, here is the one, that I have never seen in 53 years of my life...I guess they did not have eggs, because they used hard boiled eggs, chopped them up and heated them up, barely, and served that as scrambled eggs!!!!!!   TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!  These are franchised and I would assume, the owner doesn't want to spend the money on the breakfast, and would rather have the money in his pocket. They act like breakfast is complimentary but you know it is built into the rate, and I was shocked and dismayed at what they put out and still charging your for it. If we are ever back in Evansville it will not be here after being served this. I hope the owners enjoyed the money, because they will never get any more of my hard earned money,  I usually give very good reviews, when it is warranted and this one is not. GO ELSEWHERE!

BY FAR THE WORST QUALITY INN I HAVE STAYED AT

Not the worst hotel I stayed in, but it is close.  Looks like it hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned since the Obama administration. Smells like it too. For God’s sakes, replace the toilet seats!!! Made me long for the last gas station bathroom I was forced to use. If you were paying by the hour I could understand it, but charging $100 a night for that? You gotta be joking.
Bottom line - STAY AWAY!!
