We have been coming here for years.  Every time we come something has been upgraded.  The pool has been redone, there are two firepits, beautiful gardens and a grassy area too.  Breakfast is typical for a "breakfast included" motel.  This is right on the ocean overlooking the beach.  There are Adirondack chairs to sit on looking at the ocean and beach, just wish there were more of them as they were full a lot. It is walking distance to many stores and restaurants and The Marginal Way is right there too.  Not a far walk from Perkins Cove. The owners are very nice and the staff is accommodating.

Love this place

Bold ocean views on the water, incredible amenities w kitchenette, fresh coffee 24/7 fun staff and great service. Multiple decks, fire pits, a pool, parking, close to everything. Books out far in advance and likewise on the pricey side. 

Awesome vibe and experience 

The hotel sits directly on the ocean and is  a close walk to the Marginal Way . You can park your car and walk to shops, restaurants and bars.  Kate at the front desk is friendly and knows the area and can recommend places to go.  They offer games, movies and free books.  The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.  The staff is friendly and helpful.  

A Maine Gem 

Sea Chambers is a great place to stay, however,  after going there every year for many years, I won't be going back. We always rented the apartment which alwys worked out well for us, but we need to bring 2 cars. Sea Chambers recently changed its parking policy to where you can only park one car on the property. This makes no sense to me when you are renting an apartment that sleeps six. The management was not willing to make an exception. So sadly, they've lost some very good, regular customers. It's ashame they don't appreciate our business.

Change in parking policy a deal breaker 

The location of this hotel is perfect. You are steps from Marginal Way,  shopping and downtown. The staff is very friendly , accommodating and helpful. We love room #42. It is roomy and bed is very comfortable. There is a small kitchenette with lots of possibilities. This room also has 2 recliners, a coffee table and 1 nightstand. 
The rooms are very clean.

Sea Chambers is a Great place to stay

The Sea Chambers Motel was a lovely place that was comfortable and roomy with every essential needed at our fingertips. We loved it! Staff was friendly and helpful. A pleasant place to stay almost like home! Will go back next year! It was also a haven for butterflies that were attracted to all the gorgeous flowers on the grounds. Close to Marginal Way, restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful vacation in Maine at Sea Chambers Motel!

Anniversary Weekend, 46 years! We were in rm 34 for 4 nights.  So glad we picked this hotel!!!!! We will forever be grateful for the memories made at this hotel, Sea Chambers! Great location by Ogunquit Rive /Beach. Very clean, comfortable.  Able to meet every need without asking. The view, the STAFF IS FABULOUS! We were there for our 46th Wedding Anniversary and every bit of our stay was beyond what we expected.  So very grateful!

5 Stars all the way!

This is a very friendly, clean, family oriented motel. Excellent location to all you want to do.  Walk to shops and restaurants.  10 minute walk to beach. 5 minutes to entrance to Marginal Way. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights. Quiet, and comfy beds. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful getaway

The hotel has the most amazing views from the majority of the rooms and large deck. Rooms are kept clean (Currently no mid stay cleanings). Very easy to get replacement towels or items, you leave a checklist on your door. The outdoor fire pits are nice (Wish they would stay on a little later than 10), pool is well maintained and heated. Close to Marginal Way and all the shops but also one of the closest hotels (That allow kids) to the beach. Quick 5 minute walk to the beach.  The only complaint we have is the breakfast. Bagels\English muffins\Muffins get old very quick. Also as someone who tries to avoid carbs there were no other options there. One warm option of some sort would be great. Will be staying here again in the future.

Great views, clean rooms, excellent location

Short review:  As soon as I arrived home, I emailed the hotel to ask for a reservation for the same time next year.

More info:  We were welcomed very promptly and efficiently by the hotel manager.  Our room had a king bed with side tables, a dresser and an open closet, two chairs and a side table, a spacious, attractive, immaculately clean bathroom, and a small kitchenette with sink, mini fridge, and microwave oven.  An iron and ironing board, hair dryer, coffee maker, and lots of coffee supplies were available in the room.  We didn't hear much noise from the other hotel guests, except for one family with children that noisily climbed the steps outside when arriving late at night.  The room air conditioning worked quickly to make the room comfortable, and the room was comfortably warm at night.

The hotel is on the shore of the Ogunquit river, and provides many comfortable chairs overlooking the river, the beach, and the Atlantic Ocean.  We had several friendly encounters with other guests in these areas.

This hotel is located in a lively seacoast neighborhood, with lots of shops and restaurants.  Moody Beach is very wide and nearly 3 miles long, and is a pleasant short walk from the hotel.  Ogunquit's well-known rocky seacoast path, the Marginal Way, is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

We were extremely pleased with the room, the hotel, the staff, and the surrounding area, and we can't wait to go back.
