This is the 1st time we have stayed at the Carriage House. It certainly won't be the last. We're staying in Room 7. The room is very clean and cozy. Love the Jacuzzi tub and the fireplace. The bed was very comfy. The housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning our room. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The snacks in the room are a nice touch.

Room 7

Great stay.  One of the few places where the pictures on their site don't do the place justice.  Jacuzzi easily fits two people, and the room is very clean and spacious.  Will stay here again if we want to spend a night in Berlin.

Room 6 is excellent

The room was pleasant and clean. It is not fancy, but better than adequate. The bed was comfortable and the couch was as well. The bathroom was average in size and had shelving for stashing toiletries. The towels were a little on the thin size so I suggest those be replaced soon. Our only complaint was that the heating unit was very noisy and woke us many times during the night. That would be something that would keep me from returning. The location was perfect for exploring Berlin. We had stayed in the main building a few years ago and remembered it as being quite nice.

Number 5 was quite nice.

The room was very nice - beds were comfortable - both my sister and I bumped our legs on the bed (several times) before we realized we actually had to walk around them, lol.  The room was very clean.  Would suggest to get a dresser in the room and some sort of stand in the bathroom.  Water in the shower would turn really hot and then really cold but all in all we did have a hot/warm/freezing cold bath, clean though.  The room above us - on Saturday evening it sounded like someone was tearing the house down someone in that room was dragging something across the floor.  But all in all I would say it was a very nice clean room and a big plus was it had heat and a television;  Good stay

Warm and toasty - lovely room at the Carriage House

Not the best accommodations. Small room without a nice chair to sit in. We had to watch TV or read on the bed. I’m not sure why there was a kitchen table in room 1. There was not a microwave, so you could not heat food and eat in there. The refrigerator was set on the floor. Putting it on a table would have made using it more convenient.  No clock in the room. Shelving would have been helpful in the nook in the bathroom behind the door. The breakfast was mostly prepackaged convenience food. Local baked Amish goodies would have made the breakfast so much better. I read that others commented on the evening snacks. We never heard anything about that. Water or a snack upon arrival would be a nice touch.  However, the location was very close to town and the room was clean.

Room 1

Came to check in room was not ready. waited until 3:30 or after and still not able to get in. Went for early supper instead. The heating unit is so loud you can not sleep. Goes off and on all nite long. The next morning getting ready using hair dryer all the outlets blew out. only ones working were the heating unit one. The door to the room also you can see daylite on the bottom where the door meets the jam letting cold air in. Also people above us were very loud. Never the less we will not be returning.
