Our new favorite vacation spot on the Cape.  The larger resorts (Wiscasset, Ocean Edge, Chatham Bars, etc) are great for families with younger children but for families with older kids or couples looking for a perfect spot to relax, away from the crowds with the most welcoming hosts... A Little Inn on Pleasant Bay is the answer.  Delicious breakfast on the terrace with amazing views of the Bay and gardens that can't be matched anywhere on the Cape. The Inn and grounds are stunning. Phoebe & John are so warm and inviting with great suggestions for restaurants and day trips. We enjoyed our visits with the hosts and Eloise (the adorable Lab) during late afternoon cocktails. John shuttled us to the outer beaches on the Inn's private boat shuttle and gave us a fun tour of the area from the water.  The rooms have the same casual elegance and comfort as the common areas and were very well appointed. My favorite activity of the week was reading my book in a beach chair on the dock. A Little Inn on Pleasant Bay is the best place to stay on the Cape for those looking to find a place to relax, avoid the crowds and enjoy the beauty of Cape Cod. 

Best Stay on Cape Cod away from the crowds

This is our second trip to A Little Inn on Pleasant Bay.  As it was the first time, we were greeted with warm smiles and assistance with our things.  Phoebe and John have created a beautiful experience - gorgeous surroundings with water views, a dock to walk out onto at sunrise, excellent gourmet food, incredibly comfortable beds, any amenities you might need.  Additionally, they are a fountain on knowledge on all things related to the area and the rest of Cape Cod.  We will return again and again!  

Another amazing stay!

After an unexpected change in our plans, Phoebe and John bent over backwards to accommodate me and my daughter for our 6-night stay in Cape Cod. Their thoughtfulness was evident in every aspect of our stay!  After a delicious breakfast each morning (thank you Jennifer), they helped with great recommendation (esp. restaurants). We were even lucky enough to go out on John's boat twice!  The rooms were immaculate thank you Maria) and tastefully decorated. The common areas and grounds were relaxing with a beautiful view of the bay. What more can I say? Perfection!

A Little Inn with a big heart

A cozy, small,  intimate atmosphere awaits as you pull into the drive at A Little Inn…..Phoebe, John and their yellow lab Eloise greet you and the magic begins.  
Our family has been going to A Little Inn for about the last 8-9 years.  We love it and can’t wait to return each year. It’s like going home when we pull into the drive. 
The owners and wonderful staff make you feel welcome the moment you arrive.  You enjoy a beautiful breakfast each morning served inside or out with beautiful garden views or views of Pleasant Bay.  The rooms are delightful either in the main house or the carriage house. There are not enough words to describe all that the Inn has to offer. 
You will not be disappointed. 
We’re always sad when we have to leave…….’until next time’ we say.  A Little Inn is in our hearts forever.

Like going home….

View great!  John and Phoebe very welcoming and kind.  Breakfast was wonderful.  Room clean and comfy!  Enjoyed the boat ride.  Saw lots of seals. Would loved to have stayed longer but it was the end of our trip.

Amazing getaway

This place is a gem! Aside from its beauty inside and out, the staff is what really makes this place sparkle. Pamela and Sandra are the most wonderful hosts. You really feel like you’re staying with friends. They are so knowledgeable and are such kind souls. The charm and care they’ve put into the inn, shows with their antique sugar spoons and other pieces of beautiful decor you won’t find anywhere else. Maria is fantastic. Other than being great at her job, her positivity and happiness is contagious! Jenny is the BEST cook. Breakfast every morning was a complete meal with an appetizer and dessert! And Jennifer quickly cleaned our room and made it look great. Some days we weren’t even out that long and she somehow got to it before we got back! Cheers to another great season and we’re so glad we got to be a part of it.

Anniversary getaway on Pleasant Bay

Such a special stay at The Little Inn. Wonderful breakfasts! The two owners Pamela and Sandra are so knowledgeable on the area they really helped us maximise our 2 days. Luxurious rooms, everything really is perfect. We are probably some of the last paying guests to have had the honour to stay here as the owners close for good on 8th Oct. Such a shame as it really is a very special place on the Cape.

My husband and I stayed here on a king weekend Anniversary trip to the Cape.  The sisters, Pamela and Sandra, are the absolute most charming hostesses who made our stay so special. Their attention to detail in decorating this quaint B&B produced ooh’s and ahhh’s around every corner. Their English upbringing is evident with small touches throughout. Our room, The Whistler, was upstairs with a little balcony looking out the backyard  where the English garden and well-manicured lawn was so lovely to look at. The view of the Bay out front never failed to excite whether a bright sunrise or a pink sunset. Book early as room availability disappears quickly.

Beautiful GEM in Cape Cod

My husband and I stayed here while in Cape Cod for a wedding.  There is definitely a reason this place needs to be booked well in advance….it is perfection! The rooms and common areas are spotless and very nicely decorated. The staff is wonderful in every way…we loved Maria !  The property is gorgeous too!  The sisters that own the B&B are very special.  We mainly dealt with Pamela who is absolutely wonderful and we eventually met Sandra who is also very sweet. Quigley, the sweet dog, made it even more special.  We were here in August during a very very hot, humid spell and I must the AC is  beyond perfect.  My husband and I like to sleep at around 65 degrees and Little Inn did not disappoint.  We will be back!
