We enjoyed our stay at the Vineyard.  The house is lovely with lots of room to relax outside of the bedrooms.  Pastoral setting and excellent wine too!  Hosts were great and it's a very short drive to Point Reyes National Seashore as well as the small towns in the area for dining.

Great stay in a very comfortable, quiet setting

We had a great stay! Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious and the vineyard was quiet and with beautiful. The breakfasts were bodacious, with delicious pastries and local cheeses. The pinnacle of the stay was our wine tasting with our host, Steve. The wines were brilliant and Steve's stories great fun.

Delightful bed and breakfast

There was some initial confusion about our reservation for this inn, but the owners found a quick solution. This is a lovely place, although it can be confusing to figure out exactly where to go upon arrival. The inn is beautifully decorated and very spacious. We had the whole top floor, which includes a large living room, dining room, and full kitchen. It could have been a bit cleaner, but we really enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommended.

We enjoyed staying here. great location near to ocean & Point Reyes national seashore. The room was very good, quiet & secluded. the house was well appointed & relaxing. The front door must be left unlocked & bedroom door isn't particularly strong but as the place is so far from anywhere this wasn't much of a worry. This is a lovely place. Breakfast is fair at best as you cannot make toast or have anything cooked.  Tea and coffee are freely available though.  The places to eat in the local town are easily reached and we found them to be very good.  We were caught out by the fact that there is no-one to see you when you arrive, you check in by 'phone then you're on your own until you leave. If this had been explained better (a note just inside the door would have done) then we would have been better prepared for this and enjoyed it so much more.

Lovely place to stay near to the Point Reyes National Sea Shore.

we enjoyed staying here.  great location.  near ocean & point reyes national seashore.  room was very good.  quiet & secluded.  the house was well appointed & relaxing.  Only negative is security.  Front door apparently must be left unlocked & bedroom door isn't particulary strong nor doe sit have a good lock.  Perhaps owners need to upgrade the security, but honestly,  this is a nice place & worth the $'s.  Breakfast is fair.  wi fi is ok in main part of house.  not so much in bedroom

The "inn" is a three-bedroomed house next door the the owner's house, so we only saw them briefly. The setting is lovely with views of rolling countryside around it and cattle roaming in nearby paddocks. It has a deck/veranda which is in the morning sun and is great for breakfast, which was good with plenty of choice. The room we stayed in was very comfortable. We were the only guests staying that night and so be had plenty of space. The only negative comment i would have is that it felt vaguely uncomfortable and intrusive  being in what is evidently a family home without anyone else around, but we soon got over that!

A lovely place to stay

This is a simple home on a vineyard just out of town. Great place to put up for the night and the breakfast was full of pastries and cheeses from the local area. If you drink wine, you can even get a little taste of the good stuff!

Took my son there on our father and son trip and had a great conversation with the host. That's the true gem of this place. He has always been here, his family has always been a part of the area and is part of the history. He has amazing stories and great tips to make your stay at Point Reyes just perfect.

Great place just out of town, but the host.. awesome

My husband and I felt quite awkward sharing a 3-bedroom ranch home with another couple who were total strangers.   This is a typical ranch home - not an inn.   1 bedroom has its own bathroom;  the other 2 bedrooms do not so you need to get dressed in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.  Each bedroom has its own lock so security is not an issue but the bedrooms are all very close so if you really like your privacy, this is not for you..

The deck is unusable as it is covered in bird doo doo as are the rusty table and chairs on it.

The house itself was very clean exept for the bathroom shower curtain which had mold on it in the corners.  The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were nice.

The coffee and continental breakfast were nice but note that even though there is a normal kitchen in the house, you are not allowed to cook there.

We are glad we went but one should know what they are getting into.

A Bit Awkward....

We made this our base for a few days of exploring in the Reserve.  While fine, we recommend staying in a small village near the harbor inside the National Seashore to save driving each day.  The owner was pleasant and the room (in a house on the property) had the advantage of use of the common areas.

Fine for an overnight.  

Self service accommodation - the owner lives elsewhere. Three bedrooms with sitting rooms . The guests have the run of what was a family home. Absolutely no cooking on the premises breakfast is snack bars and or cereal. A 5 minute drive north of Point Reyes town.
