Went for a 8 days for Carnival in Provincetown which is a blast and a great time.  First time to stay at the Boatslip.  It was the perfect place for this trip.  It’s a classic 1960's cape cod feeling building that has been upgraded and is a comfortable stay.  Bathrooms are tight but the room, the view, and the AC is perfect.  Comfy beds.  The continental breakfast is good and nice that you do not have to go walking for coffee and food after a long night.  The staff here is what really made my trip! I cannot tell you how great it was to get to stay in a place that instantly felt like home, everyone was so nice, so helpful, and you just feel like part of the family (even though it was my first time here).  So many great folks, Stephanie, Rhonda, Janet, Rey, J.T, really everyone was so super.  Have already booked again for next year.  I recommend this if you are in P-town.  Also, the pool and T-dance are fabulous; bring a lot of cash for T-dance, no credit cards, there are ATM's, the drinks are strong but aren’t cheap.  Loved my trip and thank you Boatslip for a great stay and for your terrific staff!  

Perfect P-Town Stay

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at this iconic resort in Ptown and I felt compelled to do a review. We stayed here for 10 days, during the last 2 weeks of September. Though the weather was a bit unpredictable, some great sunny days, some rainy ones...it didn't matter as we were enjoying our stay here at this cozy, majority gay-clientele, waterfront resort irrespective of the weather. The thing that made the biggest impact upon us was the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff with a wonderful woman named Jennifer leading the charge in this respect...so warm, friendly and always up for a great chat. Other staff members who deserve a mention were the terrific GM (Terry), the lovely Assistant GM (Michelle) and the reception staff including Giorgi, a super friendly Bulgarian actor! There is such a fabulous, positive vibe at this resort, it's like staying with family, we felt so comfortable, after 10 days we didn't want to leave. The other fantastic things were the daily breakfast buffet tended by a really lovely and thoughtful man named Ray and you can't beat the harbor views and location. It's definitely worth getting a room over the pool with a harbor view. They all have balconies which is great for the people-watching...especially during the Tea Dances they had from 4pm to 7pm on Fri, Sat & Sundays (they have them every day during high season from June through August but just those 3 days starting early Sept). The Tea Dances are lots of fun with great music and a terrific indoor dance floor (though when it's good weather most people are outside on the large deck overlooking the harbor). The Boatslip also has a great bar (cleverly called The Buoy Bar) at the front of the resort right on Commercial Road and it has a terrific first that accommodates sever people around it...very social. And great people watching of the passerby on busy Commercial St. The accomodation is nothing flashy but was comfortable enough. We liked being in the middle of the action on those Tea Dance evenings but something to consider if you're wanting to have a nana nap every afternoon and don't like noise (especially in high summer when the Tea Dances are every day). All in all we had a brilliant stay and will definitely be back to see our Boatslip 'family' again soon. Highly recommend this place (and charming Ptwn with all the beautiful homes/gardens and the wide array of fabulous bars and restaurants! And be sure to hire a bicycle and tour the area...best way to do it! Enjoy!

Surpassed expectations! Incredibly friendly staff! Brilliant stay!!

This was our first time at The Boatslip. We were greated with a smile by staff Jennifer. Checkin was quick and easy. We got a tag for our car. We had reserved the king bed and it came with parking. 

Our room was large. A bit different layout as the sink for the bathroom was by the room door but hey, easy to check your hair on the way out!  We had a balcony and we loved sitting there during the tea dance. The Boatslip is  renoun for the tea dances and we were afraid it would be too much of a party atmosphere but it was just right. We watched most of the time from our balcony enjoying the gregarious atmosphere. At 7pm when it was done the place became very quiet as the staff washed the floors and tidied the space for the next day. 

We loved being just by the ocean.  When the tide was low my wife would go for walks on the beach. The ocean views were amazing!

The included breakfast buffet was great. They had real scrambled eggs, bacon and alternating between mini pancakes and home fries. They also had bread and bagels with a toaster available, large yummy muffins, cereal, yogourt, fruit cups prepared with melons and other fruits. The coffee was good. We were very pleased with the breakfast buffet

The pool was great.  My wife did lengths every morning and found it lovely. It was also a place to mingle with other guests. There were lawn chairs to use during the day. They were available at no charge to guests.  They had a towel cover they would put on top of it, which we thought was brilliant and also they provided a towel for your stay.

Housekeeping was friendly.  If you needed anything they were quick to provide extra soaps or shampoos.  Front desk was always helpful. When our iron stopped working they sent someone quickly to get another one. They provided a hairdryer when asked.  Check out was quick and easy the morning we left.   We were very impressed. We will definitely be back

A lovely stay

great place to sun and surf right on the beach; it has a huge deck, pool, bars and a terrific T dance every afternoon at four pm. The music is the best, Mary Alice does the mix and she knows  how to crank up the volume to get folks on the dance floor.

WONDERFUL PLACE

I was hesitant about booking the Boatslip, read reviews about the noise and it can be crazy. I had to see for myself. I went there with a bunch of friends, what a great time. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, the beds were very comfortable and even better was the breakfast they served up. The staff were excellent which makes it even nicer. Bonus was the T dance, what an experience. Loved loved loved the open front area, great views and was just an awesome time hanging out there by the fire. You can walk to everything which was nice, didn't have to drive up and park in the center which can get pricey. You can't beat waking up and seeing the beautiful view. Already booked for Women's week 2022.

Awesome time and breakfast. Will not be disappointed

From paying for my room over the telephone to leaving, I was amazed by their customer service. They could not do enough for me. The room and hotel was immaculate. The bed was so comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. I must confess the bed was more comfortable than mine at home! A wonderful freshly home cooked breakfast was laid out for guests every morning. Their staff were always smiling. They helped my friends and I with our luggage. My girlfriend had a large SUV type car and had trouble parking it. Two men jumped out and gave her guidance, and when she still needed help, one of them jumped behind the wheel and parked her car for her! Everyone at the hotel genuinely loved their work and the guests! Yes, we'll be back again!!

Great Customer Service!

Was walking down Commerical Street. Saw the Buoy Bar and had two drinks at the Buoy Bar- Blueberry Vodka Lemonade and an Old Fashioned. Both were spectacular! The bartender was very lovely to talk to.

Buoy Bar

The Boatslip = Tea Dance.  We went to Ptown twice this summer and I think we can all agree it is a different time.  We were pleasantly surprised what a great experience at the pool and Buoy Bar.  Poolside with food and cocktails.  Love the Greek Chicken Kabob's.  I felt very comfortable with all safety protocols for social distancing (unfortunately).  Our entire day at the pool with food, cocktails and music gave us a bright spot in an otherwise grim summer.    Would highly recommend a visit to The Boatslip.

Great Time in spite of COVID

Going to tea dance has always been the highlight of my PTown trips. Just like the rest of the world tea dance had to be different, no dancing BUT the music was amazing as always. We had booked a cabana for tea and had a great view of everything. I was so impressed by how serious the staff was at cleaning and making sure everyone was social distancing while having a good time. Their menu was exciting and delicious. The servers were attentive and had great energy. And of course the music spun by DJ Maryalice never disappoints. This is a place I have come to love and love even more to see how well they have adjusted in these difficult times. I will definitely be returning..... counting the days till the next time. 

Better than expected 

This year has been so crazy but we were lucky enough to be able to get away to the beautiful PTown. We decided to stay at the boatslip because it has always been my favorite place but also a place I felt safe at.  Well once again I was not disappointed.  The staff was over the top.  At no time did I feel that they were not taken the whole "new normal" seriously. Cleaning was definitely top of their list.   The staff from the hotel to the waiters were totally on top of things.  The food was awesome and brought over in "safety first" boxes.  
A huge thank you to the Management and staff for a wonderful,safe stay.
