Friendly owner/manager of East Indian descent, I believe. Unlike other reviews here, I was clearly able to understand & communicate with him easily. This is an older motel but everything worked fine. Flat screen tv with satellite reception. WiFi was adequate to me. Room also had microwave & fridge which was convenient & there’s a great breakfast place (Regios Cafe) practically on site. Very pet friendly with 3 grassy areas for your pet to do his business but the area is well kept & clean. Very reasonable $5 per night, per pet fee. This isn’t a 4 star hotel but it’s clean, pretty quiet & such a great bargain. Will gladly stay here again when passing thru Central Oregon!

Best Lodging Deal in Redmond, Oregon!

It's not the most attractive of motels and the room was definitely in need of updating.  But the bed was comfortable and the shower worked fine.  For the price and staying only one night it's not a bad option.

Okay option for the price

This motel is not fancy.  It is bare bones but clean and serviceable. Very slow, pretty much unusable wifi.  Friendly staff. Good hot water in shower and 2 small soaps. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave are the kitchenette. Coffee packets were offered to us at check- in. The kitchentter suite is really just a 2nd bedroom.  Do not stay here if you want upscale digs.

Weekend stay

There was pubic hair on the bathroom floor and noisy sex next door, overall it was just dirty and loud. The receptionist was behind a little window which felt weird. The bed was comfortable so if that's all you care about, there is that.

Will never go back

We have stayed here for several years; it was our go-to place while visiting Redmond; however, we won't be staying again anytime soon. The bed was awful - sloping on both sides and poking us with coils. The bedspread appeared clean but the blanket had melted candy and candy wrappers on it. Air conditioner worked but had a broken cover. We look forward to coming back someday after remodeling and deep cleaning.

Needs deep cleaning and renovation 

Our suite was very decrepit, with old, hard mattresses, cracked tiles in the shower, missing our burned out light bulbs in the fixtures, and a AC unit that blew dust into the room. There was one place that had a picture frame (with the picture from the store still inside it) screwed into the wall, apparently covering a hole.

Our room supposedly had a kitchenette -- but apparently, their definition of the word is different than mine, since it just had a small refrigerator and a microwave. We assumed that there'd be at least a cook top, toaster, or something like that.

As some other reviews mentioned, the WiFi speed is slow; I attempted to hook up a VPN for a more secure internet connection, but it was too sluggish to even use that.

This isn't the worst motel we've ever stayed at, but it's in the bottom 5, far below Motel 6 or Super 8 in quality.

On the positive side, the suite had large rooms, with parking right outside our door, so no stairs needed to be climbed. The location is close to our weekend attractions. The facility is pet-friendly, only a $5 charge per night for our puppy.

Needs LOTS of updating and refreshing

This motel is really really unpleasant. My husband kept saying “oh it’s not TOO bad” but I found it just awful. 
The room wasn’t at all clean: other peoples stray hairs and pubes and a really odd and unpleasant smell throughout the room. I couldn’t bear to touch things at all, though the sheets were clean. It needs more than a thorough clean though as it’s really dreary and run down with encrusted taps and shower. Someone had valiantly squirted bleach everywhere in a failed effort to spruce things up but it’s pretty revolting all round.

Smells really horrible and is unclean

The Office was messy and cluttered with tools.  The key card did not grant access to my room so manager used his key card to get me inside.  The neighbor ‘residents’ were drinking at 8:45 pm outside with accompanying large cooler several hours if not all night.  I was awoken at 5 am to same residents verbally fighting.  It was scary.  Inside, hidden cameras could be located strategically in several inappropriate places.  Room looked to be 35 years old.  I will not be back ever.
