I traveled to the area for family business to the south and a family reunion to the north. I was there for two nights. The owner was very informative to events in the area. The room was super clean. Absolutely everything I needed. Frig with freezer. Ice machine. Microwave. The continental breakfast was better than many hotels. I would book directly with the property in the future. Access to the finger lakes trail is across the street. Great for a morning walk. If I had time I would have gone to the Curtis’s museum down the street.

Do not be deceived by the exterior

Wow, great accommodations ! We stayed 1 night during the week as an add on to a stay elsewhere. So glad we found it! Very clean, large, comfortable rooms. Good size refrigerator was a bonus. Neeta and Dave are friendly, hospitable hosts that seem to truly care about their property. Complimentary Continental breakfast was much appreciated. Can not beat the value!

Needa very friendly and knowledgeable about local events. The inn is  very  reasonably priced and  location is within ten minutes of everything in the Hammondsport area.

What a wonderful experience! We booked the Vinehurst Inn without any knowledge of the Inn or the area. Upon arrival, our host, Neeta, was a wealth of information and incredibly pleasant and wonderful to work with. The Inn was just as expected--a very clean and well maintained property and an attentive host who made sure we had everything we needed. 

If you are traveling to Hammondsport, I highly recommend this property.

weekends, and family visits to the Hammondsport/Finger Lakes area.
Very clean and comfortable rooms. The management is very friendly, 
easy to work with, and welcoming. All good!

Good says at the Vinehurst Inn!

The owners were gracious, accommodating hosts. The breakfast was very good as was the price of the room. Also, we had a relaxing time in the evening sitting by the gas firepits.  The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. It is a great location near town, restaurants and wineries.  Also, the owners sent us to some great local restaurants on the water.

Gracious Hosts

We had such an enjoyable stay at Vinehurst Inn and Suites!  Neeta and her husband are fabulous owners that go out of their way to make sure all of their guest's stays are enjoyable and comfortable.  We are used to soft pillows, so we asked if they might have any.  Neeta gladly found two and brought them up to our room.  We stayed in a queen jacuzzi suite and the jacuzzi was wonderful!  The showers were nice and hot, and there was a small fridge and microwave in the room for our convenience.  We enjoyed the fresh fruit, bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs, muffins and coffee and tea for breakfast each morning.  Neeta was just around the corner if anything was needed.  And her husband is making some wonderful updates to rooms at the inn.  We enjoyed the Glenn Curtiss museum, kayaking on Keuka Lake, the shops and restaurants in the square of Hammondsport, shopping at the Windmill and Oak Hill Farms, and a delicious dinner looking out on the water at the Switz Inn.  Vinehurst is a wonderful inn with so much to do nearby!

Spent a night here on the way to Niagara Falls. I have allergies to fragrances, and forgot to mention it when booking our room. The room assigned to us had an obvious perfumed scent, so I asked if the window could be opened. It could not be done, so the owner immediately found us a different room with minimal fragrance, and called her husband to insert a screen and open a window to allow cross ventilation. What amazing customer service... and the courtesy and kindness of these hosts continued to the continental breakfast and suggestions for the next leg of our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable rooms, reasonable prices, wonderful hosts

The Vinehurst Inn was an incredible value and accommodation for us for 4 days last week. The price was the lowest in the area by far and the rooms were excellent. They were exceptionally clean, well stocked and had everything we needed plus the A/C worked perfectly. Good coffee in the morning and their location was very centrally located between the five major Finger Lakes. Plus the owner was extremely professional, personable, accommodating and very knowledgeable of the areas. We were extremely satisfied and recommend the Vinehurst Inn very strongly.

Incredible stay at Vinehurst

Highly recommend! The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Owner is friendly, caring,  accommodating. The entire grounds are well kept, room was clean, great big fluffy towels. Owner gave us hugs when we left!
