Really loved this place last night.  We opted for a queen bed room(2 adults, 1 dog) to be closer to the river, and loved it.   Clean and comfortable, and will stay here again.  Works perfectly for us...dog-friendly and welcoming.  Close to  a river AND very cool hot springs.

Great!

The name, "Motor Lodge," may conjure up images of a sketchy, minimalistic, bare bones stay; but, the Riviera Motor Lodge will defy those preconceived notions. Situated on the Platte River, the Riviera hosts a tranquil, quiet, clean, relaxing stay with modern amenities. The rooms were updated and clean. The yard was well maintained and offered a gas grill, cooking utensils and a gas powered fire pit. The lodge offers bicycles, towels for visits to the hot springs, and games to help keep you entertained during your stay. Walking distance from everything in town, I can't recommend this place enough. 

Relaxing oasis 

The Riviera has gone to great lengths to improve the guest experience.   The hotel was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful and the grounds were great (especially the river overlook).   It was a short walk to good food and only a few blocks away from the "Hobo" hot springs which was excellent.

Very enjoyable!

Parking was a little tight but room was clean, staff was friendly.  Outside gas campfire and seating were great.  Short walk to most thinks in town. Certainly not a luxury hotel but that's not what I was looking for or expecting.

Quiet comfortable hotel

Room was clean, bed comfortable and a/c cold. Our room was inside and very quiet. Walking distance to restaurants. The sitting area next to the river was pleasant. They also have grills to use if you want to fix your own meal. Would definitely recommend the Riviera.

Good place to stay

This hotel has come a long way. I used to stay here pre-covid and it was ok. Since my last visit lots of things had changed. The place is cleaner, the outdoor areas were usable, and very refreshing.

My room this vist had not yet been renovated, but i did get a few peeks at some that had been. Very nice.

They even allow pets and have a nice fenced area where the pets can uh, take care of business. They provide bags and a trash can for easy clean up.

The staff was very plesant and accomidating.

We stayed at the Riviera for one night and were pleased with the cleanliness of the room, comfortable beds with wonderful pillows and little dog park (with bags for cleaning up after your dog) facing the river.  We liked the proximity to downtown, as we did walk to the historic Wolf Hotel for drinks. We later ate at Bella's, across the street.

Comfortable Beds!

The room was clean and thankful that it was at the back of the hotel and away from road noise.  Where else as you gaze across a narrow river can you look up and realize you have deer right outside your room.   We watched them roam the grounds for over 30 minutes.  Housekeeping:  There was quite a tear in one of the dust ruffles and was in need of some repair.  Working ice machine but no other extra frills -- no breakfast.   Again, kudos to a friendly staff.

A bit off the 'beaten path' but clean and friendly

Clean but the room still had a musty smell. Fair price in a fun town.  Adjacent to the river which is the real draw in town. Within walking distance to most of the restaurants and bars. No regrets.  Enjoyed our weekend and didn’t spend a lot!

Nothing special.  Saratoga is awesome tho...

We stayed an extra night in Saratoga and they had availability. I spent a little more and got a balcony room on the river. Great idea... until someone lit a large charcoal grill about 11pm right below our patio. It was May, the slider was open with only the screen and I woke up gasping from the fumes. Bad idea guys.

Cons: almost getting gassed, porch area leading into the rooms filthy
Pros: price wasn't bad for summertime. The rooms themselves were clean, beds were comfy, people were nice.
