I have stayed in most of the accomidations Saratoga has to offer, and this one takes the prize. 

I had stayed at the Silver Moon quite a bit in the pre-covid days as it was the best set up for extended stays. It was always good, but the property was aging and in need of a refresh.

Boy let me tell you, this place is REFRESHED. I booked an extended stay room that must have just come out of renovation. I may have been the first person to use the room.

The Kitchenette was well thought out with most things you could need, the fridge even has an ice maker.

The beds were so comfy, I had the best sleep I've had in years on the road, well on the road at least. 

The TV, HUGE, I'm not kidding when i say it was at least 65" possibly 75" and to make it even better it was a roku tv that automatically signed me out of my services on check out. Traditional sattilite tv was also an option.

I will be back, even for the simple overnight trips this is my hotel of choice.

Great Hidden GEM

So comfortable and nice! We could tell it was newly renovated- very modern and clean. The owner was super helpful and the hot springs was awesome. It was a short walk to the hot springs and we got breakfast on the way. We loved staying here. 

Great place to stay

My husband and I stayed at Silver Moon this summer (late June 2022). The staff was so kind and accommodating, especially since our flight was canceled and we didn't arrive until late one night. Our room was cute and had recently been updated. Everything looked brand new, and it had all the essentials-a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and a nice kitchen area.  We are planning another Wyoming trip next summer, and we will absolutely stay here again!

We came in for the weekend and were looking for comfortable and reasonable price lodging. We stumbled into the Silver Moon Motel. We loved it. Great people and comfortable rooms. Really close to the river and hot spring pools. Great little town with the best pizza we ever had.

Great value

In town where everything is run down, this place was a good pick. They were polite and place was clean, not modern but nice.   Little kitchen and good size room, with shower in bathroom.   Off street parking.   They were very reasonable priced, half what I paid in the other dump.

Affordable

This is really higher than a three, but I went average since it doesn't offer air conditioning for warm summer nights. You do, however, have a fan and windows that open so sleeping is comfortable in this small Wyoming community.  If you are looking for a five star motel, this isn't it. If you want a clean, good bed, thick towels, strong shower spray, microwave, mini fridge, and TV this is your spot. The owner has updated the outside and rooms recently. Evenings are quiet, but if you are a late sleeper, you might ask for a room on the west side. We aren't, so we didn't mind hearing trucks turning into the business on the east the next morning. This motel is in walking distance to many eateries and the hot pool for those who enjoy a stroll after a long drive. We will stay here again on return trips.

Clean, Comfortable, Affordable, Centrally Located

Stayed here one night, it was a clean room and nicer than another we looked at that was a higher rated place. Hot shower and the microwave and fridge would be useful to many. But the bed was way too bouncy and yet really hard and difficult to get comfortable on as a side sleeper. Also the mattresses had plastic liners for sanitary reasons I suppose but they made the bed extra hot and uncomfortable. The room did not have a security chain or even a deadbolt, not so great for security. It is also located right next to a gravel pit or something, so that could be noisy during the week if your room backed to it, and the place is located right under high tension power lines. Pin the plus side I liked that the center of town was just over the bridge two blocks and the hot springs only a 10-20 minute walk. But I would look at the hacienda or reserve the wolf next time. 

Clean room

I guess I should just appreciate a motel in a rural area - which I do.  I'm doing a cross country bike trip and have stayed in some "2's" which are fine, especially knowing that's what you're getting.  Well, that's what you'll get here.  Carpet old, shag, gross feeling under your feet.  Blanket "pilly", shower tiny with stained floor.
