Needed to go to a hotel for a few days and went here because my house was condemned.  I decided to stay here because of the cheap price.  When I got there I was meeted with friendly front desk.  The rooms where clean,  the pool average, breakfast was good, no bugs, no problems during when I stayed here.  The appearance from the outside doesn’t look the best but on the inside is what matters.  Plus the with the price you can’t complain!

No problem Experience at the Economy Inn

I stayed at the Economy Inn last week because of a business trip I needed to go on.  When I first walked in I was greeted with a friendly old gentleman that checked me in.  When I first entered the room, it smelled like a delicious orange ice-cream bar.  Anyways, the beds where confortable and the AC was already on and was nice and toasty in the room.  Everything in the room was excellent.  I was hungry so I ordered some dominos pizza, and it was here in less than 20 minutes, very happy.  The heated pool and paintings where also very nice addition.  Only downside is that there is no elevator.  I will be staying here again soon!

Cheap, Comfortable, Clean and Convenient.

It’s a nice cheap and convenient place to stay.  My family, including our 15 year old daughter enjoyed the indoor pool which she spent all day in lol.  We had got a 3 bed room, which I didn’t even know those existed but the owner told us they where having a special on those rooms so we took it.  The 3 bed rooms where clean, very spacious, had a jacuzzi and nice paintings was a good touch.  We where originally going to stay for only 1 night, however we decided to stay for 2 more days as it was comfortable and we really enjoyed the place!  I actually stayed here when it was a different hotel with different owners, and during that time, the hotel wasn’t good.  Now however, I come here with family atleast 2 times a year!  Amazing renovations and amazing location with Tacobell, Circle K, Waffle House, The Movies, and a lot more just walking distance from there.  I recommend staying at Economy INN!

Cheap, clean, comfortable.  What else do you need at this price point?

We stayed here trying to manage our expenses for the trip. We did get a room with 3 queen beds for under $80. However......

The room and halls smelled old and musty. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked just fine. The grounds need work, as does the exterior. We did not eat breakfast there, so not sure what they had.

If you do try this hotel be wary. It is not in the nicest area. Make sure you are aware of your surroundings.

On The Cheap - But Be Cautious

Stayed here one night.....was Kentucky Derby weekend so we took what we could. Man at front desk wasn't friendly,but business like.You have to notify front desk within 30 minutes if you have a complaint. Room was adequate, but still a bit stinky due to stale air. Flat screen TV with many channels, mini refrigerator, microwave. Very small towels. Very forceful shower spray.NO BREAKFAST.....bug coffee in lobby. My husband and I got a king bed.... clean...no bugs. Room charge was $55.00, and they start cleaning/vacuuming at 8 am sharp!

Change of management

My family stayed here last night and it's the worse place ever to stay. One star is way too high of a score! The service is horrible. The rooms and pool are filthy. The website states one price yet, you get there and they change the price. Stated the website is out dated. False advertising!!! They advertise breakfast yet don't have anything. Don't open a business and have false advertisements. Never, never stay at this dump with rude owners!

I’ve stayed with my family at similarly priced motels when we travel to Michigan and back from Tennessee. We don’t require much as we basically just like to split the trip up. Last night we arrived shortly after 1am. There were bars across the front desk and a sign stating that if you wanted a refund for your room after 15 minutes you were out of luck. That should’ve got me to leave then, but I was tired. Whole place smelled like smoke, and I’m a smoker so that’s pretty bad. The headboard was gone on one of the beds, cigarette burns on the tub, and after I went to the bathroom we found no toilet paper.

In the morning I went to get my three year old breakfast (they advertise continental breakfast from 6am to 9am) and found a couple of Froot Loops and some Corn Flakes. There was also 6 pieces of bread to choose from, white or wheat sandwich bread. Looked for some milk and found it in a little mini fridge on the counter along with  a gallon of orange juice. The milk was expired, BY FIVE DAYS!!! I didn’t bother checking the OJ. Good thing I didn’t give it to him because there was no spoons.

The place looked like we’d just gone through an apocalypse. Seriously laughable! Stay far, far away!

I wish I could give less than 1 star...

The owners/ workers here are very rude. I know the saying is customer is always right but we all know that saying isn't always the truth. Well it is here, the owner (male) talks 9yells) down at guest. I was very surprised to see that there is actually bed mattresses laying on the yard/property. Behind hotel there is mattresses piled up infront hided by shrubs are 2 and on the side by exit of pool area there is a pile of them that has been burnt. The pool can we say joke...this was the worse place and I didn't stay longer than 2 hours and wasn't allowed any refund

The room for the most part was kept clean during our 3 night stay, but the rest of the hotel was a disaster. The indoor pool was more like a hot tub with a temperature of about 105 degrees, the hallways smelled of old cigarette smoke, the towels were far from white, the continental breakfast consisted of frosted flakes, fruit loops, chocolate doughnut holes, milk and coffee. The outside of the hotel had old mattresses laying around and there was some sort of "fenced" in area that looked like it may have been used for chickens on the side of the hotel. The only one who spoke English was the night desk clerk, we will never stay here again, thank goodness we were gone during the day and only needed a place to rest our heads at night.
