very clean /quite  and price right the staff is very friendly
they have a nice laundry facility with well maintain snack machines.
there is a restraint is  across the street and store within walking distance.

Stay several times here at this motel ,staff is friendly,rooms are nice and clean property is safe and clean,love the fact i can cook,and it didnt feel like a motel more like a studio apartment..laundry facilities are kept up ,and pet friendly

Nice stay..

Key Word : Clean!  The room was spotless...well cared for, cozy ... Even the microwave and fridge...sparkles...very impressed. 
Now, the down side...spring mattress ..ok..but needs replacement. TV ...old tube type...but ok.. 
The front desk people were awesome...the housekeeper was great and had a wonderful smile..(russian?) ❤
Wi Fi was great... No safety concerns...home away from home. Hope to be back soon ....❤❤❤this place...
Maybe next time I'll get the housekeepers name...so I can thank her !!!!!

Very Surprised ❤❤❤❤

Was easy to find off the highway. The lady at the front desk was very unfriendly. Dirty looking place. The room was reasonable. I had to call down twice to figure out their WI-FI. We never did figure out the air conditioner. There is no breakfast offered but a nice place close by. Tried to talk to the man at the front desk the next morning so we could get ice. He hardly spoke English. When he finally unlocked the door to get ice, it was empty or broken. You got what you paid for

I have stayed at this Motel 6 Studio Suites before so I know what the property is like.
The Good:
* Room is large. Room 303 has a queen bed, night stand, tv on a bureau, kitchen table and two chairs, full-size fridge, sink, small stovetop, coffeemaker. The washroom is extremely large - this may have been a room for guests with physical disabilities as there were several bars and assists in the washroom.
* Room was very clean. Towels were changed daily and room was cleaned daily.
* Hall way was well lit.
* Check in staff was friendly.
* Lots of parking
* Free wi-fi was excellent

The Not As Good
* Bed was really uncomfortable - both my husband and I thought it was really hard.
* Pillows were uncomfortable - two small pillows with very little stuffing in them. Having said that, when I requested extra pillows, the staff were very accommodating in my request.
* No hairdryer in the room. When I called, the lady at the front desk said I could borrow one from them and return it when I was done. I ended up buying a small travel one from Wal-Mart. It was inconvenient but fixable.

We come to Bakersfield every year for a drag racing event. We have stayed at this property before so I knew what to expect. It is on the northern end of Bakersfield and convenient to get on to 99. It also has several restaurants and fast food places for breakfast.

If you are looking for a budget property this would be a good choice.

Average Place to Stay

Room was clean. Charged $10 pet fee. Leaving 2 stars because the property was absolutely disgusting. There was so much dog poop in the back you can smell it everywhere on the property. Yes, it's a shame people do not clean up after pets but for $90 a weekday night, they can hire someone to come in. I had to take my dog to a nearby park because the mess was so bad he couldn't walk anywhere on the property. I am not exaggerating in the slightest. Again, room was fine. The dog situation is out of control.

Dog poop everywhere, property is disgusting. Room was fine.

On the outside the place looks nice. But once you get to your room it is another story. The carpets were severely stained smelled. the bed was hard and it was so dated for a motel that was probably built in the last few years. This is a basic room that one can do so much better in many other places. Plus the hotel staff was just not interested more involved in watching what was on her smartphone or youtube. Please go elsewhere for a room and save your money.

Be advised do not stay

Stayed here for one night and saw multiple live cockroaches in the room. Saw one crawling under the table, and saw one in a bag of food I had placed in the fridge just a couple hours earlier (the fridge was empty when I came in to the room).

I saw a dead cockroach in the bathroom right when I walked into the room for the first time, so even the cleaning here is pretty poor, to say the least.

I was given another room late at night. When checking out the next day, I was charged the full amount and told that I was given the option of either getting a refund or switching rooms. I was never given that option. It is unbelievable to me that they would charge me anything after I had to deal with all of that, whether they relocated me to another room or not!

If I hadn't been so exhausted and it hadn't been so late at night, I might have demanded a refund and looked for another place to stay. 

Probably the most amazing thing out of all this horror is that I was never once even given a simple apology for my horrible experience here from either of the receptionists I talked to! Talk about poor customer service!
