The hotel was very clean. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was not that good. Not many choices. We stayed here because it was close to the hospital. I would stay here again if I were in town again. Good price for what I needed. 

Hospital Stay

Stayed during bridge fair. Sign for hotel way up in the air it has to be for travelers on I70.  Goggle had you make a U-turn once off the highway but that is not correct.  Once there found out the toilet lever would not function.  Notified the front desk next morning to have it fixed never was. Had to lift off lid the next 2 days.  Breakfast was great. Everything you could want hot waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage and eggs. Very large and spacious.  Looks newly renovated and clean.  Walls soundproof and quiet from outside even though close to I70.  Hall carpet was clean also.  Staff were on the breakfast filling up when things got low.  Nice hotel.

Better than expected but with a flaws

My husband called this motel and we decided to go down early, so we wouldn’t have to get up early on Friday morning and drive for 2.5 hours from Lafayette Indiana.  The motel told us to call whomever we made the reservation with to add another night.  That was fine we could do that.  We left Thursday and got to TerreHaute Indiana before check I time and the let us check in early.  

The room was big with a king bed and was suppose to be handicapped  accessible and it was to a certain point.  My husband is in a wheelchair and I was using a walker, because I fell about 3 weeks ago and my arthritis was flared up.  

Being handicapped we usually take a shower stool with us.  The shower had grab bars in it, but I have one complaint that the toilet was too low to the floor.  Had to get up and down very slowly.

The breakfast was fine.  Didn’t have much choice or variety of food.  The front desk personnel were kind and offer to help in anyway they could.  

Housekeeping was very personal and did a good job.

All an all we would stay there again.

Trip to TerreHaute Indiana

This hotel is conveniently situated, safe and clean. Beds were high quality. Front desk staff friendly and efficient.
The only issue (and it may have been unique to our stay) was that it seems to be a hotel that allows transients, or people who appear to "live" there. It wasn't obvious until breakfast (which was good!), and an extended family of sorts was there in their pajamas, allowing their 7 barefoot children to run wild.
Other than that, it was a very good stay and I recommend this hotel.

Good Place!

My dad was in the Union hospital down the road. I was concerned this might be a dive, and was pleasantly surprised. I will stay here again ! 
rooms clean and upgraded, breakfast included. Everything I needed for this visit. 
The sushi place across the high way was awesome too. ! 


visit to indiana

Nice facility. Clean & comfortable. Spacious room arrangement. Met our needs. Stayed here on our outbound travel, and elected to stay here on our inbound travel. Cordial staff. Parking lot is well lit. 

Clean & Comfortable

We booked the handicap accessible king bed room in June for our trip in November.  The description of the room was applicable to our needs.  When we checked in, the door was a regular width and my husband's power chair barely fit through it.  There were no grab bars near the toilet.  There was no shower seat installed or a portable one to be borrowed from the front desk.  It was a tight squeeze between the wall and the bed.  He did not have the required space to move through the room freely.  I did talk to Terri and the other front desk staff to ensure that they were educated about the current ADA regulations.  I do hope the room has been improved since our stay.  Please do not advertise this room as accessible until renovations are completed.

Not Handicap Accessible

The room and bathroom were well maintained and the bed was comfortable.  Did not eat the breakfast but the room it was served in was clean.  The only 'minus' was the only elevator was very small and smelled of smoke, but the room/hallways did not.  Would stay again.

Clean & pleasent

This location needs a lot of work on cleanliness.  We stayed one night last week and one night this week as a halfway point between Michigan and Tennessee.  The doors to the rooms do not fit tightly, but they do lock securely.  There is not a fan in the bathroom.  When we checked in both times, the rooms (different rooms different floors), there was a very stale stuffy smell.  Today there was a stronger odor we could not identify.  There was a clump of hair on the bathroom floor and if you look closely, the room is not clean.  The breakfast is okay as long as you don't want real eggs. We were okay with this place for the price, but one night was plenty.

Fair for one night

we had issues from the start. the bed sheets had big stain on it , i asked for a another sheet to cover up the stain   ( NOT SLEEPING ON STAINED SHEETS)  had to change the sheet,  had to take a light bub from another light to put in another, 
 then  our toilet wouldnt flush, my husband messed with it, nothing, had the staff come try to fix it, it worked for a bout an hour, had to go down and see about changing rooms,  we made 5 trips back and forth between rooms,  we shouldnt have had to do that.. they knocked no money off our bill at all!!  theis has been numerous times with choice hotels  having issues. think i will swear off choice hotels
