Spacious and rustic cabins.  Beautiful surroundings and the staff were really accomodating and nice.  There is no internet in the rooms so be prepared to use paper maps and read.  This is a place to unwind.  Range restaurant was just steps away from our cabin and we ate there each day for breakfast (very yummy) and dinner.  Staff service is excellent.  The scenery is outstanding.  Bathrooms are tiny but functional.  

Rustic and comfortable cabins.  We enjoyed our stay with a large dog.  

We loved our cabin! Comfortable beds and plenty of room in the cabin. It was very clean with an updated bathroom and shower.  Enjoyed the quiet area with a grocery store and restaurant nearby. This was a great place and we would highly recommend.

Great cabin in a good area!

Nice and cozy, clean with plenty of room. We had a 2 room. Good bathroom. Nothing fancy, just right. Adequate parking. Even though it is at the north end of the park it doesn’t talk long to get to the major sights. Would do it again.

Clean and functional

We spent two wonderful nights in a cabin at Colter Bay.  This was as close as I want to get to camping - it was quaint, rustic, comfortable, cozy - and included a private, indoor bathroom.  LOL.  Our 2BR/1 bath cabin was perfect for a family of four.  Late summer weather meant very warm days and cool nights; we didn't miss the AC and didn't need the heat.  The grocery store was well stocked with a variety of items, including vegetarian and vegan.  Food at the restaurant was hearty, tasty, and freshly prepared.  The menu was very similar to the diner menu at Jackson Lake Lodge.

Wow!

We stayed for 1 night whilst in the Tetons, but wished we had booked for longer! Our cabin was very cute and rustic, but also clean and comfortable. We enjoyed reading about how the cabins had been moved from their original locations. The setting is lovely, feels very peaceful, and good location for exploring the Tetons. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant on site, both meals were excellent, especially the dinner as they had several vegetarian options for my other half (something we had struggled with elsewhere!) There is also a grocery store on site. No wifi in the  cabins but good wifi available at the restaurant, check in area and around the grocery store. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful stay

Our cabin with a shower was the best place we stayed in for our 40th anniversary trip to Wyoming.  There is general store and coffee shop right in the village.  Everything there costs more, but the location makes it all worthwhile.

Romantic

Beautiful place.  There is little water in the lake and I don’t know if others who booked knew that.  Lovely walk around the lake.  As the water has been used in Idaho for farming, there will be no water activities this year.  We arrived a day early as Yellowstone Park had closed and they were able to find us a cabin, albeit a family size one and it was very expensive but we had little option.  The cabin was very pleasant and the heating excellent.  The staff also very helpful.

Truly beautiful.

We really enjoyed staying in the cabins. They are basic, but comfortable (no fridge, coffee, or microwave in the room; we were happy not to have a TV). Comfortable beds; heater worked well; shower/bathroom was comfortable with plenty of hot water. The cabin was very clean. We loved the location - walking distance to the store/coffee bar, restaurant, and visitor center in Colter Bay Village. We actually had decent cell reception from the cabin, and you can get wifi access from the cabin office or the restaurant. Location was great for driving within the park. Water levels are super low - no water in Colter Bay June 2022, so the views weren't as great as we hoped, but still a beautiful area. We would definitely stay here again! 

Great cabins!

It is now months later, but I wanted to post this pic and review. We love the cabins at Colter Bay. Trying to make it work for this coming summer, too. I love that you can walk to the store, the swim beach, and are so close to the trails. Can't say enough good things about it. Posting a sunset pic of my kids swimming - fabulous experience!

July Nights!

We stopped at the Colter Bay Marina one morning right at sunrise on our way out of the park, planning on spending the day at Yellowstone. What a lucky pit stop! In the summer you can rent canoes, kayaks, and motorboats here to explore Jackson Lake. 

On our most recent trip, we brought our pop-up and camped at the Colter Bay campground. The proximity to all the sights was perfect, and every night we walked down to Jackson Lake (with wine) to watch the sunset.
