Fantastic stay
We have just finished a 5 night stay at the Soniat & loved it. Beautiful buildings at the quieter end of Chatres street, warm, friendly staff, fabulous suite with stunning verandah and delicious home baked breakfasts. Honesty bar and no “big” hotel amenities but we wanted a more authentic stay. We w

Favorite US Hotel and Maybe the World
We fell in love with Soniat House last year and booked to return the same time this year, early February. It felt like coming home, if one's home happened to be three gorgeous early 19th century townhouses on the quiet end of Chartres Street with lush courtyards and extraordinarily nice people-yes y

Elegant, accommodating, relaxing
Our three night stay, at the Soniat House, was perfect. After a long day of travel, we were warmly greeted by the staff and made to feel at home. Our room had its own balcony where we sat and had breakfast (oh, I can still taste those hot biscuits) or a glass of wine. Our bed was very comfortable

A perfect NOLA stay
We stayed at the Soniat House for the first time, and simply put, it was perfect for us. I used to stay here in the past and suggest to anyone I know. Beautiful hotel for some rest and relaxation... Gorgeous rooms. I think it is the nicest small hotel you can find in New Orleans. Quiet and nice neighboorhood.

It is in a great location on the quieter side of the quarter. Close enough to walk all around but far enou

Quaint Quiet Side of the Quarter
We recently stayed at the Soniat House for the long 4th of July Weekend. We chose the hotel for the location, the biscuits(!), and because we had stayed here a number of years before. The staff is all wonderfully nice and helpful, the room was perfectly comfortable, (like staying at a home away from

Absolute gem of a hotel in a fabulous location!
My 11-year-old daughter and I recently stayed at The Soniat House Hotel and we were absolutely captivated by this gem of a property. Located on a quiet block within the French Quarter, the hotel is nothing short of spectacular. From the warm and gracious service to the spacious rooms to the fresh-ba

Elegant and unique
Really nice stay here. Great location on a quiet street in the French Quarter. We had a room off the courtyard which was lovely - I slept very well all four nights we spent at the hotel. Staff was outstanding - genuinely nice and helpful people.
Breakfast in the courtyard was a highlight of the tr
