So from one traveler to another if you want a great deal that won't break the bank and is near everything you want to be near give the Glade Springs Econo Lodge a  try.  You won't be disappointed.....

Leaving with a smile 

My Husband and I stayed at this Econo Lodge while on our way to New Jersey,  being honest, we NEVER stay at Econo Lodges, as they are usually pretty gross, but this one is totally opposite,  it is VERY clean and the staff is super friendly. The beds were a little too hard for me, but it wasn't a deal breaker. The pillows were not the best, but again, not a deal breaker. The owner offered to replace the pillows, but it was fine. The ac was ice cold, the rooms have been remodeled.  We will definitely return to this hotel when we are coming through Virginia.  

Nice little hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed here.  We have family near this hotel. Clean, and updated. Very accommodating. Due to handicap issues, we asked for the bottom floor and we asked for two rooms side by side. They were glad to provide all of our requests.  Definitely will stay here when visiting family again.

Good Place to Stay

If I wasn't so tired I probably would've driven further because honestly Econo Lodge isn't usually my first choice. Sure glad that I stopped to check it out! Clean & comfortable, it exceeded my expectations. Raymond at the front desk was the perfect combination of friendly & efficient.  My room was basic ~ nothing fancy, obviously, but for a quick overnight it was perfect.  Micro & fridge w/freezer section for refreezing Blue Ice, YAY!  Drive right up to your own door w/exterior entrance.  These sort of motels are getting harder & harder to find but I prefer this design. Makes it so much easier to load & unload luggage, cooler, briefcase, etc. rather than having to load everything onto a cart, wheel it through the lobby & into an elevator, then push it down a long carpeted hallway!  Easily accessible bedside outlets.  Free wifi w/ample signal.  Sheets & towels were clean & in good repair. Although there was a little highway noise, it was surprisingly quiet for being right off the interstate & across the street from a Petro truck stop.  Grounds were nicely kept.  I didn't get any of the uncomfortable  "sketchy" vibe that is sometimes found at budget friendly motels. Priced right, clean, convenient.  No continental but there was coffee in the lobby.  I definitely recommend.  

Not an Econo Lodge snob anymore!

My husband booked this despite my protest.  The Patel family runs this motel, it was clean, simple,  efficient, located just off the interstate was a pleasant surprise.  Great for an overnighter.  Large bathtubs to soak in.  Quiet.  

No breakfast anymore just coffee.  King beds are only located upstairs.  Pet friendly rooms.  

Nearby is gas, dollar general, pizza plus and a El Burrito Loco- which had fantastic food at reasonable prices.

Would stay again!

Clean! I was very skeptical. Good Value

Pretty good value!  However, the front desk is not always staffed and there is no breakfast at all.    This was advertised as a amenity on all the booking sites and Choice Hotels own  app promoted as being included in the room rate, its not!  The room however, was clean, updated with solid surface flooring, new sink and countertops, new tub/shower and new toilet and the room was pleasant.   Overall a good value.

A Good Value

We needed a place to stay for a few hrs. Checked in at 1245am because we were tired. I did not book on booking because we were not sure how far we would go, and usually you get a better deal directly with hotel. Went in office and he would not accept the lower booking price ($7 lower) so paid their price, he said he was unable. (Past experience hotels can can will match price). Left at 730 am to head to our destination. 

There is no parking in back of hotel. Sso if your room is in back, you park up front and have to walk around. 

Room was no bad, beds were smaller than normal ( looked like a double but still seemed small) Fridge, microwave, TV, dresser, coffee maker, etc. was provided. 

Bathroom was clean and had an extra roll of tpipet paper as well. No tissues in room. Small bottle of hair stuff along w a bath bar was in room. 

No carpet which is nice, bedspreads had a few burn holes. Pillows were comfortable. Bed wasn't bad.

Ok place

Hotel rooms seemed clean.  Ice machine was broken but office offered to give us some until it was fixed.  Coffee maker made only one cup and produced a number of bursts of steam which was  unsettling.  FYI:  there are two levels and no elevator.
Located very convenient to I-81.

Fine for a one night stay en route home

Picked this hotel while in the area for the NASCAR race at Bristol, about 40 minutes from this hotel, because of a more reasonable price (around $150 a night, good for the area that weekend). Pretty typical travel motel, but if you need a place for a simple night's sleep while driving, it did it's job. Mattresses in the room I had are in need of upgrading, but it was relatively clean. On a great note, customer service was fantastic. The manager/owner let me check in way early just to get our keys so I wouldn't have to check in later around 11 pm that night when I'd be back.

Ok place, good spot for a recharge

Passing thru this way, I opted to stop here, the reviews seemed to give it high ratings. In truth this one of the few options in town. The staff is comprised of a husband and wife team, which do not speak English well, his is better. They are from India. The wife struggled to complete the transaction as I checked in. The rooms were modernized some time ago, however, there has been some painting and a few other touches done. The painter obviously did not use tape when they trimmed out. The breakfasts at Econo Lodge never seem to have eggs, nor breakfast meats, here no change. The milk was in a gallon container contained in a home sized refer. The OJ was the gallon orange drink mix you see at a Wal-Mart. In short, thankfully I was traveling solo, and the price was for one night. Not a repeat, pass this up.
