If you can get past the exterior and neighborhood this is a good place to stay. It is located on the outskirts of Franklin surrounded by cornfields. The building is is the middle of renovations so as for a newly renovated room. The room was clean and quiet with plenty of hot water!! There is a 7-11 close by with gas pumps. We chose this place for price. It is so worth it and only one hour from VA Beach — if you don’t mind the drive. Would recommend. Hope they can spend a little money and repaint the outside. 😉

It has potential 

If you are looking for someplace to sleep and a shower and don't want to spend a lot of money, this place is good for the price. There are absolutely no amenities (except for a refrigerator and a microwave). No coffee, no kleenex, no wi-fi, no ice. But the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable enough. This hotel is down the road from a large paper mill, and this part of town has clearly seen better days, but the parking lot was well lit and we had no problems.

Looking for a bed and shower?

This place is disgusting.  Nasty, sink, tub, floor, poor wi- fi signal. Sink Faucet falling off sink. Bed worn out. Only 3 pillows on the bed. No soap or shampoo.  Fridge falling apart. Mouse poop in bathroom.  Chair stained. Computer chair holes and chipped faux.... Do yourself a favor. Drive by this place. The owners are just out for your dollar.

Disgusting bathroom.. . dilapidated furniture.. Not worth the money.

Me and my kids had to move in three different room and told my baby daddy that she was going to call the cops on me and my kids.

Bed bugs

My fiance and I was very displeased with our stay. We were given a room that were clean but the commode didn't work. The second room we were given were cleaned but the heater did not work. The 3rd room heater did not work or shower water would not warm up. Later learn that the room and mattress had bed bugs. My fiance and I are broken out with rashes. The past owner kept things in top shape but not so sure now with the new owners. I advised all who stays to make sure you know, what,  you're getting into before you stay. I know all experiences are not the same. We will not be staying there, again. And, no refund or discount was given back.

Unhappy Customer

ABsolutely would not recommend ! We had to take our own trash out they don’t check to make sure your room is good before you check in . We had a broken tv, the faucet was leaking excessive water we also went 4 days without sheets and towels asked management( Eveybofy is the manager here) But they didn’t care said they would send maintenance (maintenance lives there also) at around 11 that 3rd morning without sheets I went back around 6pm for her to tell me I have to wait another day. I just asked politely for my money back & that when the whole ugly family came from the back upset because I asked for my money back and was frustrated (I told them come outside but they were scared. Yall it literally took me to keep telling people before they went in not to stay there because they have bed bugs and roaches also just for them to give me my money back. She was mad and called the police on me. But luckily the police were on my side and knew exactly what I was talking about. The family was rude and could’ve just gave us our money back but instead was running their mouth behind a glass.( Yall I was gone drag every last family member . Another thing they charge you wayyyyy to high so keep up with your amount you pay because they will lie and try to charge you more .Also mold in bathroom. Health department was definitely alerted and I hope this place gets shut down because it is not fit for living . Honestly you better off living out of your car or even walking long milesssss for a better one because this isn’t it . If I could give 0 stars I would .

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME OR HEALTH. THROW THE WHOLE  MOTEL AWAY & THEIR RUDE NASTY DIRTY FAMILY

I didn't like a thing. I've never stayed in a motel where I counted down the hours to leave. There was an eggy, sewer smell all night. Also a skunk had sprayed seemed like outside of our door. Arrived to a scalding hot room in mid July, AC had not been turned on. The location isn't good, beside a paper mill (I'm assuming that's where the odor came from?) I let my husband sleep, I did not. There was a crack under the door I could see light under. Add the smell of mothballs to all of the other smells outside, so I stayed awake making sure nothing crawled in under the door. The room was awful. Cigarette burns all in the comforter. I never turned it down. I sat on top of the blankets all night. Less than a half a roll of toilet paper, with no extra roll. No tissues in tissue holder. Faucet had speckles of toothpaste where it hadn't been cleaned from other people brushing their teeth there. Rooms are conjoined by a closet with 2 doors you have to lock the opposite door, you have no control over your own lock. I didn't like this at all. This place doesn't deserve the ratings it has. Horrible.

Lady at the front desk was nice and accommodating to our late check in. AC was ok once we got it turned on. It has electricity and running water. I'd try Super 8 in the area or just drive another 30 minutes or so to stay in a different town.

I had booked to stay here for one night, two rooms, for my family and I, on a layover to our beach vacation. Fortunately for us we never even got to check in. When we pulled in from the street the place looked deserted and at first we weren’t even sure if they were still open. There were weeds growing through the concrete and a general rundown appearance. We saw a few cars parked at a couple of the rooms so I proceeded into the office to check in. There was no one at the desk and a note beside a phone, if you need assistance please call zero. I dialed zero and could hear a phone on the other side of the glass ringing. After doing this about five times and waiting out front for about 10 minutes we decided it was best to find another place to stay. We went to the super eight several miles away which was clean and comfortable.

Don’t stay here!

I would never recommend this place to anyone. I would even consider sleeping in my car. The room was absolutely disgusting. There were all kinds of stains on the sheets and pillow cases. The bathroom had clearly not been cleaned in months. There was garbage on the bathroom floor, hair in the bathtub and a bolt around the bathtub. Even with the low cost of the room, I will never stay here again. Do not stay here!
