My wife and I were in the area to visit Stone Tower Winery and chose to stay with Zion Springs BnB because of its proximity and prior reviews and are very happy that we did. Such a nice alternative to corporate chain hotels. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, recently renovated rustic. We walked out of our room into beautiful grounds which are most commonly used for weddings. Neighboring Purcelleville has numerous restaurant options. We will definitely stay here when we return to visit the nearby wineries.

Fantastic stay

We got married in October on a beautiful fall day. We had a long engagement and picked zion springs two years before the wedding. They dealt with all of our questions with ease throughout the whole process. They genuinely mean it when they say to put your trust in them and enjoy the fun things about your wedding. Doug and Laura are real all-stars for all that they do to make the day special. Doug is a wizard behind the camera and brings the best out of everyone leading up to and during the wedding. Not only is he the best behind the camera, but he is also a problem solver and helped with anything I asked of him that day. Laura is a pro. She is always calm, and it's infectious. When they asked us what we wanted our wedding to look like and feel, they followed our instructions to a tee and made it truly feel like OUR wedding. Our guests were equally thrilled with the atmosphere and the staff support. Multiple people told me how efficient and smooth the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were. They will go above and beyond to ensure that they deliver what you truly want. I could go on and on. I will say again that Doug and Laura really made the process, the day, and everything in between and after stress-free and memorable. Hats off to both of them for helping us start our marriage the best way.

STRESS FREE, GREAT ATMOSPHERE, FANTASTIC STAFF

My husband and I tied the knot here about a month ago and we are still floating. The place is obviously beautiful but the people are what make it amazing. We dealt the most with Laura and Doug leading up to the big day and all I can say is that they are masters of their craft. They made my life SO EASY in regards to the planning process. And on the weekend of, Sophie, Lorelei, Sabrina, Jon, Chris, Tommy and the whole crew worked so hard to make for an absolutely seamless few days. I felt so relaxed and stress free through the whole weekend. I couldn't recommend this place more. Our photo sneak peak and wedding video were ready(and SO GOOD) by the morning after and we got to watch it at breakfast which I thought was just unbelievable!And my friend actually booked a tour two days after our wedding because it was so amazing!!!!!

Most stress free wedding weekend!!!

My husband and I stumbled across this gorgeous property online and it reminded us of the estate where we just got married in June. We live in PA but this was only 2 hours from us so it was a very doable drive for a quick weekend getaway. The entire grounds are beautiful and so well-cared for, we kept saying we wish we could have seen a wedding actually take place there because it would be gorgeous! John and Chris, the owners couldn’t have been more accommodating between inviting us into their home for delicious breakfasts both mornings to providing us all the best recommendations on local hiking, breweries and wineries. We tried every single one and were blown away but everything we did! The beauty in that area is hard to describe in words. Would highly recommend this wonderful B&B if you are lucky enough to book it when there are no weddings! Thanks for everything and all your hospitality 😊

PERFECT GETAWAY SPOT!!!!

Chris and John have done an impeccable job creating a relaxing hidden get away in Zion Springs. We left the BnB feeling rejuvenated. It was an ideal get away weekend, and we will absolutely be returning! (Thank you Chris and John!) 

A Peaceful Oasis Hidden Away

I found Zion Springs B&B by happenstance and I couldn't be happier with the discovery! The room was SO comfy...from sheets to pillows to towels, etc. Being able to make a strong cup of coffee on my time was also wonderful. I wouldn't change a thing about the accommodations. And then there was the property -- so beautiful and soul soothing. And the breakfasts? Not sure what was better, the food or conversation. No doubt I will be going back and if I ever get married again, this is the venue I would choose!

My stay was awesome!

We had the absolute best time celebrating our daughter’s wedding at Zion Springs!  The owners, Jon and Chris, have a stunning venue and were amazing hosts!  Everything about the weekend was perfect!  The event planner, Laura, was so organized and guided us through every detail of wedding planning with ease!  Her professional and calming demeanor was exactly what this mother of the bride needed.  I am not sure if Doug, the photographer, ever slept over the wedding weekend because every time we turned around he was there taking the absolute best photos/videos. He was so much fun and his energy was contagious.  A shout out to the chef for the delicious food both at the rehearsal and reception!! So many other members of the Zion Springs team that went above and beyond including Abby (the florist), the friendly bartenders, quick and smiling food servers, to our entertaining MC/DJ, Jon! 

The amount of time and dedication by everyone member of the Zion Team did not go unnoticed.  Way to go! You all knocked it out of the park!!  


Wedding Venue

We biked to Zion Springs from the W&OD trail.  This place was amazing and sits on an absolutely beautiful 25 acres of land, which we were invited to explore and hike around.  The room had everything we needed, comfy bed, warm shower, snacks and a fridge, and the hosts, John and Chris, were excellent.  They struck a wonderful balance of being friendly and accommodating, yet giving us our space and privacy.  They set up a fire pit for us outside in the evening, and they even considered where we could store our bikes for the night.  The breakfast Chris made was delicious and just what we needed to give us fuel for our bike ride home.  It was a wonderful night away to recharge as a couple, and I highly recommend for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle & bustle of DC or craziness of life in general.

Amazing stay at Zion Springs

We had an absolutely lovely time. I stayed here for a wedding on property and everything was so easy and organized. They were excellent hosts and wonderful cooks. I would absolutely stay there again. Even with rain all day the property was beautiful and the experience and wedding were perfect.

Wonderful

Hidden gem tucked away in the woods in Hamilton, Va, Clean and comfortable with great breakfast and accomodating hosts. A little off of the beaten path but very quiet and easy to find. Beautiful surroundings.
