There the best..there working around the clock 💯 percent.. anything I need there both there to help..I've been here for 5 months and I'm very proud what they done to the Berkeley springs motal... And I appreciate 💯 percent I'd would definitely be back... You guys Rock 💪

My apartment burned down on November 15th 2019 and My Fiance and I lost everything ,we had only the clothes we had on that day and When we came here to stay for the night the new owners were so kind to us they even gave me clothes and a jacket to wear.  I will never forever be grateful for Jen and her Father Fred .They are amazing people and are so quick to help their guests. The Berkey Springs Motel will always be the place I stay at when needed. They have also made huge improvements to the motel since taking ownership recently and have a friendly staff too.

My Hero's

I'm not a picky or a luxury traveler. I need a clean bed, a clean shower, no bugs and to feel relatively safe. That's exactly what I got at Berkeley Springs Motel. 
For under fifty dollars (tax and fees included) I don't know what the people who wrote bad ratings were expecting. 
I was greeted by a friendly manager about 7pm on a January evening. I was offered to view my room first. The management doesn't turn on heat or AC until check in, so my room was initially cold, but just fine after the heat was turned on. A space heater was also in the room but I didn't need it. Microwave was in the room and flat screen TV with plenty of channels. 
My credit card wouldn't work on the office machine for some reason so I offered to go get cash from an ATM and the manager told me I could just wait until the morning if I'd like to. Friendly and flexible. 
I stayed in Room 2, right next to the office. Card locks, door locks and chain lock on the door. Room was slightly outdated, but clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was spacious and clean, had plenty of hot water, and decent water pressure. The bathroom overlooked the 7/11 behind the motel, but at an angle where people outside could not look into my room. I did not here any noise from the 7/11 all night. 
Slept soundly all night and the heater was fine. I felt safe. 
The location of the hotel is great. 2 blocks from the springs and walking distance to just about everything. 
If you're the kind of traveler who cares more about the destination activities than the room you're staying in, this place is perfect. I plan to return to Berkeley Springs often now that I know about it and I will definitely stay here again.

No frills motel--Safe, Clean and Great Location

We booked online last minute weekend mini honeymoon. We arrived and was greeted with southern hospitality! Room was clean, bed was comfortable only thing was the bed frame didn't fix quit right.. fell apart .. lol.. no big deal. No heat in the bathroom in November was cold but did supply a plug in space heater. A nice place to stay the night. The town is so worth the little discomforts. Definitely will be back.

Mini honeymoon

Great location for seeing the true town of Bath, WV. Including the park, fine dining and coffeehouses, and quaint shops.  We had our small-medium sized dog.  The room was just fine and the new owner has been working on making it better. Very accommodating.

Weary late night travelers, we were able to check in quickly and simply at 1am and have a quiet, furnished, clean, air conditioned room with hot water and clean linens.  

The place has obviously been remodeled a dozen times over the decades with furniture mismatching and everything lower grade.  But that's why it's a roadside motel with cheap rates and lets you have pets with a deposit.  All the appliances and lights worked just fine and everything in the room itself seemed less than a decade old.

This was exactly what we needed and it provided- which is better than a lot of places can say.

Exactly what you think- small town motel

Stayed there at least twice. Second time bought another couple. It works for a small motel. We had no issues and I must say the owners are glad to help you out. There is a 7-11 next door so you have supplies and excellent coffee at 6 AM. Spectacular pizza for $5 per pie also. So if you're looking for a high end place to please a New York woman forget it. If you're easy going like my wife and I give it a go. Walk to everything.

Does the job

The motel is like the little train..I think I can, I think I can... .  The door lock makes no sense when you first use it; the a/c was locked off and had to be turned on by someone who had cut the power, the rooms are quite small.  It is inexpensive, which is a plus.

Yes, I understand you get what you pay for - but in the amount I paid, I expected a clean room and clean towels. The towels were stained and very dingy. The carpet appeared to not have been swept in a while. The flooring has sunk down in a few places. Whoever stayed there before me left things in the refrigerator, so I expected that would have been removed. However, if you decide you want to take the chance - look at the room first before paying your money and make sure you bring toiletries and a hair dryer, if needed. Cannot comment on sheets because I slept on top of the comforter and had my own blanket. Never again will I stay here, no even to save a few dollars.

Made a huge mistake booking before looking

They overcharged me an extra $15.00 on top of $50.00 for a dirty run down uncomfortable room. The carelessness and lack of sanitation or hygiene makes this place unacceptable when your trying to rest your family/friends for the night. There wasn't just one or two problems with the amenities because everything.....beds, tv, bathroom, fridge,  incoming bright outside light etc etc etc was bad. This place sucks something awful so do your self a favor and take your business elsewhere.
