Motel6 in Weatherford Texas may be called a 2 star hotel, but they get 5 stars in my book!
Is this a high dollar place where everything is perfect and pristine? No, it is not, thank goodness.
Is this a place where the staff and management make their guests feel wanted, welcome, and safe?  100% YES.  As a single female of a certain age traveling solo in a state and city she is unfamiliar with, I was and am completely impressed with this place.   I felt I had come to a place where I was seen.  Not just another number.

Will definitely stay here again

The room was very clean.
Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Just the bare essentials for bathroom needs so bring shampoo and a hairdryer.
The staff was kind and friendly.

Clean, Comfortable, Friendly 

All the workers were kind especially Saeed, and Gary our house keeper. They were awesome! Very kind and funny made us feel extremely welcome. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for the hospitality,and we appreciate all you do.

The young man at the desk was so incredibly helpful and friendly! I have stayed in a lot of hotels, and I have never been treated with that much respect. And then he wouldn’t except a tip. I was blown away!!

We were traveling with our dogs, needed dog friendly hotel. There are many that say they are dog friendly - but at what price? More than the price of the room! SO HAPPY we chose this Motel 6 where there is no extra charge for my small dogs. Very nice accommodations. My husband uses a walker and they put us in an easy access room on the first floor which also had grab bars in the large bathroom. The room location also made it easy for me to walk the dogs. There is an elevator for the upper floors. The room was as nice as motels where we've paid 30-50% more to stay. The room had a microwave and fridge in it, which had not been included in the on-line description. No coffee maker in the room, but available in the lobby. No breakfast, but for the price of the room it is worth it to me to bypass "breakfast included" which generally are marginal. The room was clean - NO BUGS - I run when I read about bugs in the rooms. The location is amongst a bunch of motels, it felt safe when I was walking the dogs at night. The location is easy access off/on hwy 20. Walmart and many restaurants are easy access across the highway. Texas Roadhouse was right around the corner. The man who checked us in was very professional and helpful. But the star of the stay was Saeed! As I walked past the desk in the morning to take the dogs out he greeted me with a huge smile and friendly Good Morning - a great start to my day. He was so very very friendly and kind. I will stay at this Motel 6 whenever I'm needing to overnite near Fort Worth.

I'll Be Back!

Staff and ownership are superb, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are large, modern and immaculate. There is no food service on property but a wide variety is available within a 1/4 mile or you could order delivery from a wide variety food places. There is one downfall for the location. It is tucked behind other major name brand hotels/motels without any directional signs. If I had not been here before, I would not have found it. It is on the south side of I-20 exit 408 behind Hampton Inn off Alford Drive. My suggestion to ownership is to get directional signs on the freeway and off ramps and Alford Drive entry (ownership suggestion). For the traveler, I suggest reading my directions and keeping and eye out for the big "6" sign. It is on the right tucked away. For the price, you will not be disappointed.

Hard to Find BUT Worth It

Recently, the housing addition my husband and I and my parents were in was evacuated due to a wildfire. It was late in the day and we had all of our animals with us. (7 cats between 2 households). It was cold and there was no way we could stay the night in our vehicles 30 miles from home. 

We called around in Weatherford for a pet friendly place to stay. And while there were several listings, the friendly staff at Motel 6 was the first hotel willing to wave the pet limit since we had been displaced in an emergency. 

The rooms were clean, comfy and a very nice shelter for the evening. The rates were very reasonable as well. We were able to get some rest in an otherwise very stressful situation. 

The next day we were able to return home ( as the fire hadn't reached out housing edition) The staff were friendly and the same gentleman checked us out at the counter the next day. He asked about our situation and was glad to hear it was  just an overnight scare. 

It's a good location right near the interstate, there are a variety of restraunts right across the street. There is also a shopping complex with a Target, Kohl's and PetSmart in the same area. 

We were very happy with the hotel and will stay there again. Not just in an emergency.

They helped when we were in need.

This is newish motel in excellent condition with clean quiet rooms. The staff, especially Saeed, were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy and the linens fresh. One of the best Motel 6 hotels I have stayed in - and I have been in scores of the.

I wish they all were this nice because then I would have it made.     On top of that, it was even a couple of dollars cheaper than all of the others that I stayed at on my 4,000 mile round trip!  Brand new and spotlessly clean.  Highly recommend!
