I love scuba diving and fishing but afterwards, its nice to sit on a pool deck over the ocean. I have stayed at the Oceanfront Inn several times because of its location and low price. Its not a new place. The furniture isn't new either. There is no valet service and the rooms open to the outside, which is what I like. I don't enjoy the tenth or twentieth floor because its too far from my car or bike. I prefer the ability to escape a fire by opening the door, just imagine having to jump from the balcony!! I hate to see reviews, written by a bunch of spoiled people who obviously expect the Hilton at Motel6 prices. This place was built about 60 years ago, in an excellent spot. It has been through many storms, as well as renovations and updates. You aren't buying it and it will stay where it is, you can't take it with you. What do you expect for $50?  I suggest you try it and if you don't like it, go somewhere else. The Hilton is not far but the price might scare you.  I'm glad these old places still exist for people like me. I don't have to be pampered every minute or bowed to. I want a clean place to shower and sleep. This was it! Yes, you may hear the neighbors because of the layout. I opened the door and asked them to keep the volume down, no more noise.

What did you expect

After reading reviews about this hotel I was hesitant to book a room here; however I was traveling to Florida to meet my new sister and figured for 50 bucks to be on the ocean you can't beat it...after all you are only sleeping in the room. I went to hotel obviously with the understanding that it wasn't a 5 star resort...I was expecting a dump. It really isn't that bad of a hotel, no you don't have direct beach access due to a storm taking the stairs, but u can walk right down the road to public access. I didn't eat there so I can't review the food, but the atmosphere at the pool was great. Yes the pool is small, but it's drop and the kids loved it! While we say on the deck over looking the ocean we listened to live music every night (which I thought was awesome and want even aware they did). The rooftop lounge area is so relaxing and again....THE VIEW!!!! Our room was cleaned everyday which I only mention because some reviews complain that their room want clean. Yes, the building is old and needs to be renovated, but it's not completely horrible. As for the reviews in regards to the pictures, I will share my pictures...it does look pretty...just slightly run down. Again, wth do people expect for the price? Keep in mind you are looking for a cheap room on the ocean, not a resort on the ocean. If you are looking for a resort then you are in the wrong price range. I will definitely book this hotel in the future if it is still there. The money we saved giving up a few luxuries was used fire more family fun!! Oh yeah, and as fire the Wi-Fi,  yes it should be a little better, but aren't you on vacation? Enjoy the outdoors and get off the electronics!!!

Better than expected

This Hilton wasn't as nice as the Hiltons we are used to staying in. The bathroom and shower was small and old with a dark fake wood floor in the shower and bathroom floor. It was faded and worn. The fire alarm in our room kept flashing through the night. I finally called the front desk at 3:00 a.m. to ask if something was wrong. We switched rooms but the new room wasn't any better. Room needs to be updated!! Breakfast buffet was horrible in hotel restaurant. There wasnt any music outside by pool and the pool lights were turned off when it got dark. We wouldn't go back to this hotel. Not a great atmosphere for Palm Beach. 

Cacation

We had unexpected guests for the weekend, and the staff was able to accommodate us without much fanfare.  I am glad to find room for our friends closeby.  We will use the facility again, and who knows, with more advance notice, family may come by and stay longer next time?

A quick stay

Im stayed at the oceantfront inn for 9 days.  I was looking for a place with access to the beach. When I got here last night I was told that the access to the beach was close do to turtle season. Not only today I see people from the next complex at the beach but see that the stairs from your place are gone. So I asked at the office and they told me that they are broken and cant be fixed during this season. Im very upset and unhappy since the main reason I book with you was the beach. Right now I have to drive and pay to get to it. I had to change rooms cause the first one I got was in a horrible condition. I complain and also send a letter to the complain department never got anything back from them not even a response. will never recommend to anyone.
