I stayed here for four nights in March 2017 to see four baseball games at the new stadium shared by the Astros and Nationals.  I paid $75 a night.  Motel is managed by a very friendly and helpful married couple.  Rooms are quiet and clean.  There is a refrigerator with freezer and a microwave in the room.  Nice breakfast can be had at the "This Is It Cafe" a half mile down the road in Northwood Village.  Lunch and or dinner can be had at several fine restaurants in Northwood Village.

Good budget motel

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a comfortable and quiet stay in a spacious room at the Helen Apartments and Motel. We are snowbirds and slept with our windows open, located on the east and west side of our room, during our two night stay. 

The management here was very help. While on my flight home, I noticed that I had left my sweatshirt in our room. The manager kindly mailed this back to me with no problem.

Comfortable Stay

Clean affordable though old with a charming courtyard.  I got lost with my Garmin GPS so make sure you have the right coordinates. 26°44'40.3"N 80°03'24.8"W. On google.  Or N 26.74454 ;  W 080.05688 on Garmin.  It may be my fault as my Garmin needs to be updated though another rated had the same problem.

The management is very helpful and directed me by phone to his hotel.

Rooms are large, small frig and microwave. Great TV with lots of channels.  Off street parking.

WiFi free though in my room it was inconsistent losing signal on one side of the room.v

Nice little hotel. We've had a huge room, bed was comfortable and everything was really clean.
The only inconvenience was proximity with railroad. There's a train every 2 hours day and night, and you WILL ear it. Not a problem unless you have a light sleep.
Good experience overall for the price.

Good surprise

The night when we there ! There is only one car (no sure is owner's or customer's) ! Looks like We are the only one ! GHOST  Freaking scared ! In the room the air condition is very noisy ! Ow Ow Ow ....... Like a motorcycle! It really drive you crazy ! What can I say !  Only one word : TOO QUITE to make you SCARED !
