The hotel was a delightful surprise! The rooms were large (we stayed in a King room, #105) and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was also a really nice size and super clean. I also saw something I'd never seen in a hotel before; a built-in sound machine! While the room was set far away from the road and therefore very quiet already, I thought it was a really nice touch and shows they care a lot about their guests. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Excellent and very clean!

Agree with other reviews completely! Additionally, the gentleman checking us in was super helpful, providing a reasonable rate despite the fact there was a "technical glitch" with our reservation. TIP: if you do not receive a confirmation # when you reserve, please call them. Parking outside the room door was extremely convenient!

Perfectly Delightful

This motel is a gem!  Very reasonably priced. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and linens.  Exceptionally clean, bathroom with a well designed with large walk-in shower. WiFi and largemouth flat screen TV.  Rooms are small but comfortable for two adults.

A real find!

We've been staying in several hotel/motels throughout New England over the past few weeks.  In general, we stayed in chains, where we could expect a certain standard.

Luckily, I made an exception when I read the reviews on this place!!  

The room was perfect:
- the queen-size bed was firm, but still comfortable, the comforter-blanket was warm enough, but not too warm, and there were two pillows per person on the bed.
- there was a walk in closet with a safe and lots of space for clothes and even luggage.
- there was a desk and chair in the room for those on business trips.
- the shower was an Experience -- yes, with a capital "E".  It was covered with tiles, the water pressure was perfect, and the shower head provided enough water to wash my hair with.

I would suggest this place to everyone -- except, maybe, those who need a playground for kids.  I didn't see one.



Extremely clean, perfectly equipped rooms

Not many motel rooms can match this one for quality. They finished these rooms beautifully in blue and white. The walls are a light blue with white beadboard wainscoting below and dark blue accents. It even has beautiful crown molding. And the ceiling fan makes for comfortable sleeping. The bed was comfortable and the TV on the wall was huge. The bathroom was beautiful in white tile with blue inlay and I loved the large shower. It was a pleasure to stay here. The one drawback is there is no breakfast and no coffee. But it's reasonably priced for the quality you get.

Beautiful and comfortable room

This motel was very reasonably priced, and was very clean and newly remodeled. There are a few restaurants and stores very close by also. The rooms were small but all else was outstanding! The road is close by but all was quiet in the room. I will stay again when I return to the area.

Great stay

I was skeptical after several nights in major chains with disgusting musty stench, mildew showers, etc.   However, Atlantic Inn proved to be sparkling clean with no bad smell, no gangsters having tailgate parties in the parking lot, with a polite and respectful manager.   Manager informed me that my room was rebuilt 6 years ago.  A very comfortable place to which I would cheerfully return.  I would give five stars but for the following:
- room was small.
- one short black hair on bathroom sink
- dirty window blinds in an otherwise sparkling clean bathroom
- around 4 AM I was attacked by insect  bites on elbow, both ankles, and wrist.

Note that manager is not the usual nationality of sleazy hotel operators.

Glad I Found This Place!

I was looking for a basic hotel room for an overnight stay. I didn’t need anything fancy, only the basics. On first inspection of the room, it was just that…basic. The room was dated, but there was a bed so I could sleep and a bathroom. What else could I need. 

Well, I kept waking up in the middle of the night from the noise from the road. Definitely not a quiet nor restful sleep. When I woke up and was ready to shower, there was no hot water. Since it is an older hotel and not much occupancy, I turned both the faucet and shower on and ran it for 15 minutes, but still no hot water. And with no phone in the room, I couldn’t call the front desk. So, a cold shower is what I got. Based on my experience with this hotel, I will stick to the major chains for the same price.
