We had a great time at TT Lake Whitney. The staff was very friendly and helpful made us feel welcome and appreciated 

My Trip

Awesome place. Lots of things to do, pull through site full hook up. Quite peaceful and friendly, can't wait for our next visit, staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. 
Lots of renovations being if you haven't been there for awhile you need to vist them again

Awsome place

We were greeted by some very friendly people at the front desk. They were very helpful since we are new to the area. They even came to check up on us several times throughout our stay. It was so tjoughtful. The pool was awesome and we enjoyed our stay here. Very peaceful and quiet. I would recommend the park for so down time. TMobile worked good too.

Great place for some down time.

Great staff, they go above and beyond to help an any way possible, manager is a kind gentleman who’s seems to care a lot about how the park looks, roads do need some repair but other than that stay was great, poola were cleaned and open for people, bathhouses where clean but a little outdated

Great stay!

I like the feeling of privacy between sites due to the trees and shrubs where sites are carved out of the forest.  My site was level from side to side and all worked well.  I was in site B27.  I have stayed in that site twice now.

Big park and well run just needs a few updates here and there. Corporate needs to pay for the main road to be repaved. I would hate for someone to pop a tire on all the potholes. The staff was great and I'm sure have to handle complaints about that regularly.

Fun Time

The location is an hour from Waco and Fort Worth, the near by town is small but there are plenty of places to drive to. The park itself was good size with plenty of trails to hike and this park had horse trails as well. The equine camp sites were interesting. The laundry room was clean, the back lodge was keep in good shape. The pool was clean and open when we first got there. Later, it did have to close. I do want to note that some of the trails were becoming overgrown, the roads needed repair and some of the trees over the roads and sites also needed to be trimmed back to accommodate the bigger rigs that were coming in. The sites were of good size and you didn't feel like everyone was piled on top of each other. This is the TT park I want to come to that reminds me of why we started RVing.

Diamond in the rough

We liked our spot and enjoyed our stay EXCEPT that the roads are in terrible shape, Potholes everywhere and need repaired.  Watch out when driving to your site.  Some sites were too small for our 5th wheel but we were able to find one that worked for us.

Nice stay but be careful

Our first time staying at this RV park. We stayed in "A" Loop as there were more trees and it seemed more secluded than the others. They upcharge $3 per night for Thousand Trails members, for 50 amp electricity. Being winter, there were very few people in the park. We were one of only three RVs in A loop the whole two weeks we were there. The spaces are gravel, pretty level with room between campers. The site had just enough room for our 42' fifth wheel and dually pickup. Every site has a picnic table. It seems everyone picks up after their animals because we never saw any problem with that. There are no fire rings, but propane fire-pits are allowed. The employee who checked me in alluded to the future where fire rings and firewood would be allowed. The office was large and very nice with a theater room off to one side for family movie nights. The employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. There's an activity building further back in the park. It has clean bathrooms, games and puzzles, tons of books, an old worn out piano, and more. The laundry room was nice, 4 washing machines and 4 dryers, all $2 each. The pool and hot tub looked awesome. We were too cold and didn't want to get in swimsuits for the hot tub, but others were in there and seemed very comfortable. There are several social things planned by the office each week, even though we had other things going on and couldn't attend. Cell and streaming service worked great with our ATT hotspot. The ONLY reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because the roads are badly in need of repair. We were told that the public areas like bathrooms, office, laundry, etc will be getting updates soon. Once that is done, then the road is going to be redone. They're full of potholes and just all around miserable. Also, eventually there will be no upcharge for 50 amp because all sites will have 50 amp. We will be back to this park even if the roads aren't finished yet. We loved it out there! We greatly enjoyed getting to know Wendy Fox who helped us figure out the best Thousand Trails membership package for 2023 and beyond. We wanted to upgrade from the basic package we'd had last year. A pleasant experience without a hard-sell attitude from her.

A Hidden Gem!

Should not have to pay $3 for 50 amp charge just because the power poles have been replaced with 50/30/20 amp when only using 30amps is used. The sites have been leveled and upgraded with new power poles.
