This hotel was very nice. As soon as you walk in the front desk official was very nice and very easy to work with. The rooms were also pretty nice. Vinyl floors were very nice and the beds were also pretty comfortable. There were also 2 pillows on the bed which was also convenient.

It was a nice hotel

This is my go-to when I'm on i-71. Nice spacious rooms, clean bedding and towels and the management is always kind and helpful even at 2 in the morning. Has the micro fridge,a comfortable bed, great ac and heat, an easy chair, writing desk, flat screen TV with good channel selection and the full size tub.

This hotel has a new owner, he tries very hard and I understand that spending that much cash is hard for a small business owner.
Room was freshly redone and comfortable for the type and price.
Breakfast was pretty sparse and lacking.

That is what a couple checking out as we were checking in said to us. They were right , but if all you want is to get off the interstate for the night and need a bed and shower you do not need to spend a Taj mahal price. The pictures on Trip Advisor must have been taken before the place was allowed to run down. Cosmetically, bad; but sheets and towels were clean and the price was right ($70 + tax). No breakfast, but coffee was available. Small refrigerator in room, no hair dryer, soap and shampoo provided. The gentleman who checked us in was polite an efficient.

Not the Taj Mahal..

Very nice people sone rooms was cleaner then others. We were homeless and needed a room for shower and bed first time was horriable paid to much for what we got put in but was discounted for the next time.

I stayed here because they are a Choice Hotel location.  Big Mistake!  First room had AC unit that put out warm air..  Room needs updated and maintained badly.  AC unit had a piece of screen covering the vents-WOW!  The clerk was helpful and gave me another room (had to move all my stuff to new room about 8pm)  Guess what?  AC worked about 5 min, then put out warm air.  It was cooler outside than in my room when I came back from dinner about 9pm.  Oh, by the way, I couldn't get in the room as electric lock was malfunctioning.  The owner couldn't get the lock to work in spite of reprogramming it several times.  Also he found the filter in the AC unit was caked with dirt so he washed it out.  Again the clerk gave me ANOTHER room (had to move my stuff again) Must say this room's AC unit worked just fine.  Next morning (7:30am) there was NOBODY in the office so I couldn't get a receipt.  I had to stop back there on my way home to get one.

What really upset me was at NO time during this fiasco did the manager ever even suggest adjusting my bill!  To be fair, I didn't ask him, but that's motel management 101.....adjust the customer's bill after ONE issue, don't wait for THREE issues!

The young clerk working there that evening was very helpful and deserves credit for trying his best to make a bad situation better.  

The lesson here is YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.  Sad to say, this location is nowhere near Choice Hotel standards.

LOTS of problems (but one nice clerk who tried)

It went from bad to ridiculously worse. No coffee-maker, no hairdryer, no ice machine, no blankets! Dirty sheets, old stained furniture...and then...the crazy owner. He brought us ice from who knows where...in an ice bucket that had "PLUNGER" written on it. Sure, I'll use that? The next morning we had an extra charge on our bill for a dog? Ummm..what now? We have no dog. He said when he brought the "toilet-ice" to our room he saw and heard our dog. It may be time for him to retire? We told him to come in the room & see. He did...and saw no dog. That's when he started screaming & told us to get out. Dude...we were trying to get out!!We just wanted the phantom-dog charge off the bill. We even told him he could look in our truck.He refused and flipped us off while continuing to yell obscenities...all at 7:00 am...Good Morning!!  There's something VERY wrong with this man. Should've slept in the truck.

DONT DO IT

Holy poop! I’ve stayed in some scary places in my time... but wow! AND DURING COVID... 

... had to sanitize whole dang room before even felt comfortable sitting on broken chair at the desk...

Felt safer sleeping in the truck... dang.. get it together guys or get outta the business!

Food and paper towel stuck in microwave, paint and molding messed up, towels brown or gray, someone else’s “hair” on toilet seat, behind toilet... not gonna even go there!...

... Choice... to heck with your free “travel size sanitizer “... I needed a gallon sized bottle... and then even that seemed insufficient 

Was thinking of leaving but after 18 hour day... was like ... hell with it.. NEVER EVEN AGAIN THOUGH!.... Econo Lodge.... (Economizes on cleaning, and sanitation)...


This Hotel Is Ready For Halloween...VERY SCARY!

I don't even know where to start... my boyfriend and I were passing through on a roadtrip to see family, and just needed a place to sleep and shower. The room was dirty- had bugs and burn holes in the comforter (assuming by cigarettes). Our check-in with reception took longer than most, asked to repeat our personal info (address, email, etc) several times, and to see my boyfriend's driver's license more than once. The next day, ironically, he was called by people claiming they were from the IRS and that he had warrants out for his arrest. These people knew his personal info (the address, email, etc that he provided the night before at check-in), and were asking for his banking info. He immediately called Social Security and his banks to put out fraud alerts. I had a hard time with the WiFi when he got to the room, and it was not clear which was the correct one. When I logged on and was not asked for a password, I found that weird. I went to call the front desk for clarification, and the phone in the room did not work. I received an email two days after the stay from the same people my boyfriend got the call from. It was a 1-800 number, and the name given to us by both the phone call and email was Gale Stone. We then spent the first part of our vacation making all types of calls from the mess this hotel caused us. We know that the fraud calls and emails were from staying at this hotel due to all the issues we had there, and the specific information the fraud caller had was everything we had given at the hotel. We would highly recommend to all travelers NOT to stay here!

Worst hotel stay

I was traveling for a weekend job and chose this hotel as it was part of the Choice Hotel network and close to my job site. When I arrived, i was told by the front desk that I had 2 reservations. I did not make two and only had email confirmation of one. They said I'd have to contact Choice Hotels to have them cancel the 2nd reservation or else I would be charged for the room. I spent 45 minutes that first evening on the phone with Choice Hotels who informed me they only showed the 1 reservation that I was using.
The next morning I went to work and returned for the day at approximately 2pm. When I got to my room, a construction crew was gathered around my door and the room next to me...they had to untie their orange tape from my door handle for me to go inside. Once inside, they began running a jackhammer. I went out for food a little later and returned to find the sidewalk in front of my room completely gone. 
Now, mind you, there were plenty of rooms in this hotel that appeared empty. 
The jackhammer continued non-stop until 7pm that night (Sat).
I don't know why they would put people in rooms adjacent to construction of that nature, but I found it to be poor form.
Oh, and while it was raining, they made me move my truck from in front of my room so they could do something with their construction equipment. I then had to park halfway down the hotel and walk to my room in the rain both that evening and the next morning when I left.
