We only spent one night at Green Village but we really liked this place. The staff was extremely helpful and want to compliment Trieu especially! We needed to plan our journey to Cambodia and we definitely wouldn’t have made it so smoothly without his help! He helped us book the buses and basically organized the whole trip to Kampot for us- thank you so so much. The free dinner was amazing as well, we had some sort of pepper beef, rice, soup, salad and dessert. Since we had to leave very early, they also packed us a breakfast at 5.30 in the morning! We highly recommend this place.

Very helpful staff 

A peaceful rethread in Mekong delta, away of busy Asian towns. So, the location is just great: a bit away from the Can Though, where you can enjoy in Mekong delta countryside. A nearby village is nice and with perfect atmosphere for peaceful holidays. Bungalows are basic, however comfortable enough. The best part of the Green Village 1 is Yến! She is really nice, a perfect host with great personality and attitude. 
The quality of their Floating market tour depends of a guide. Our guide was not the best. He was doing it just because of his English language conversation with foreigners and to show off his language skills. Would prefer more competent guide who would put his efforts into the content of the tour, since it is more important than just an English language competence.

Yến is a pearl of this homestay

We stayed for two nights and had a good time at this basic and quiet village! It was no problem we arrived late at night, we still got a pleasant welcome and something to eat. 

The bamboo huts look great and the staff is friendly, especially Mr T who was the receptionist and tour guide to the floating markets. The animals in the village are very cute.

The solar operated shower was cold because there was no sun :)
Furthermore the wind blew some leafs in the open bamboo hut but it was no big problem.

Nice, quiet place with friendly staff!

We spend two days in Green Village 1. The place is quiet, cute and very clean. But what really make the difference is the people who run it, super nice, super helpful  they will truly make you feel welcome and at home. I highly recommend it. 

Lovely place and lovely host

We stayed two days in green village, it was a remarkable experience with Mr.Bosa, the manager of the hotel. He was also our tour guide for the floating market visit. Everything was arranged well and we had an unforgettable time with him while tasting local foods and drink.Bossa was so friendly and funny and tried to do his best for the visitors of green village.
Room was clean and tidy, food was delicious. We had a bike tour around the area and had a chance to get closer to the local people. Recommended.

In addition to that we also had a crocodile tour and we did not like it.  



Local Experience 

We spent here one night and we had a wonderful time. We had a tour by bike in the villages around (bikes are rent for free) and we had dinner in the wild. This village is in fact sorrounded by the countryside and the forest so we went sleeping in a peaceful and nice place. We absolutely suggest to come here!! 

Great place

After reading positive reviews I was expecting something more, maybe that's why I'm a little bit dissapointed: The food wasn't good at all, everything was extremely salty and the meat was very dry. We aren't picky, but we were unable to eat the breakfast and we asked the staff to replace it (which was no problem). The second portion was less salty. It's also a shame that they're using instant noodles for breakfast instead of i.e. tasty rice noodles. However, the portions were generous. It was very noisy during the day and in the afternoon - their neigbour watches tv until late at night and we could hear the tv programmes in our room instead of the sourrounding nature. The beds were very hard and the room wasn't very clean. 

Havin read the reviews, we spend here 2 nights - I think, one night would be enough. 

As for positives: Cute dogs and cats that accompanied us during the stay :) Plenty of beer in the mini bar. We enjoyed the morning floating market tour very much and had a great chat with our guide - it was a highlight of our stay. The surrounding villages are interesting to visit by bicycles The lady in the reception helped us to organize transfer to Phu Quoc without any commision. No credit card fee.
