The reception area is the beginning of the series of disaster. At night, top naked male staffs sit there to eat dinner. During the daytime, people lie on hammock sleeping. This resort is a hostel wannabe. 

Taxi driver told us not to come due to his past experience taking guests to this place and said "Nobody sleeps there." We wish we had listened to him and stayed elsewhere. In fact, we were the only guests staying there. The remote location guarantees that you'd be paying a lot more for transportation.

Keys and room numbers don't match. We got 2 separate rooms, and found out the keys can open both doors. (In picture: 404 key number opens room 403).

They maintain zero maintenance there. The bed linens, chair covers and curtained are stained and dirty. One person even thought it is the pattern design. So bad!

Walls are stained and moldy looking, floors are dusty and scratched up. They didn't even sweep or mop the floors or prep the rooms before we came. We booked 2 rooms but they thought we only booked 1, thus repeatedly asked us "1 or 2 rooms?"

Bathroom tiles are dirty. Furniture and sink cracked and chipped. Outdoor chairs full of animal droppings. Had it not been late, we would've left. 

Massage center was locked up and full of debris when we went to check it out.

Private beach has no sand, but a lot of trash. The picture they post is not accurate. 

Construction materials can be seen here and there in plain sight. 

At least 1 "villa" is occupied by the locals as clothes are hung outside, where washing machine and some other household items can be seen.

Worst thing? THEY DON'T TAKE CARDS. CASH ONLY, even though they list cards as a payment option on this website. This wiped out all of our cash intended for the next destination, because the cost of the rooms is ridiculously high (for what we got), and the nearest ATM machines are in the city center, which is far away.

The staffs don't speak English. We had to communicate with the owner on the phone. He said sorry but wanted all the money and refused to give us any discount for the inconvenience they caused. We were $10 short, so the owner instructed one staff to order a taxi to take us and him to the city center to withdraw money. However, we were already seriously delayed, I thought we were going to miss the ferry so I said we were going to leave and they needed to take the $10 loss because we didn't have any more money anyway.

The staff then took money from the taxi driver, and told him to take us to an ATM to withdraw money to pay for the cab ride and the $10 "lent" to us before dropping us off at the ferry terminal. There's no doubt these local people are sided with each other. 

In the end, we got to the terminal just before the ferry was about to leave and didn't even get to grab lunch like we intended. What a frustrating one hour checkout process that we wish we had never gone through.

We didn't feel justified paying for that place. Well actually, that's an understatement. We were very pissed off. Tourists sometimes want to give places a chance to prove themselves, but this experience is just too terrible.
