I have a chance to stay this one when business trip. It''s quiet good for everything, at least for me : clean, good facility,near center , staffs are friendly...once again,this is the place that can be included in the selection list for short trip...

suitable for couple or single !

I booked a smaller $16 room but there was no table or balcony so I upgraded to a $26 with both. Both rooms were very good and spotlessly clean.

The staff were great, even the cleaner stopped to talk each morning. They were all very helpful.

Some reviews sound a bit mean. For less experienced travellers, please remember, that even if staff do speak some English. You may need to explain what you want in a slower, calm, clear way. If you are patient you will see the best in people and also give them a chance to digest what you're saying. It's also worth knowing that SE Asians don't like confrontation, arguments or loudness, it's a sign of very bad manners and usually annoys them; even if they are too polite to react, they will feel insulted. You really will enjoy anywhere in Asia far more if you slow down and have a bit of decorum. 

I've spent several years in SE Asia and this is a really good, clean hotel in a great location. I will use it again.

Very good value for the location and standard

We stayed at the hotel for the first 3 weeks of December. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the front #301 which was perfect for true length of stay. Room was well equipped with kettle, mini ridge and a large shower wet room.
The location is right in the middle of the nightlife. A couple of minutes walk to the main walking street and all that that entails. Although it is on a side street it is still noisy at night with music going until early morning. Also, there is a temple opposite that also starts with the bell ringing early in the morning. 
That being said, the staff were friendly and helped direct us around the city and did everything they could to make our stay a good one.
Perfect location, right in the middle of all the sights and action, but be aware you may need earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Great Location

I booked using Agoda, and the condition was that I paid cash on arrival. I did this. About a week later, I received an email from Agoda saying that I was a no show, and my credit card would be charged again. I am not sure who it at fault, Agoda or the hotel. Spent a lot of time on contacting Agoda, the hotel and my bank to try an sort out. 

Tried to charged me twice

The people who work at this hotel treat their customers like dogs. You are constantly heckled for payment (even after staying for weeks and paying every other day). You are not allowed to borrow even a piece of tape. I have never encountered such rudeness in service staff before in my life. No apologies from any of the staff even after I complained and emailed the manager. They obviously DO NOT WANT YOUR BUSINESS. 

If you like to be aggressively scowled at when walking into the lobby, hounded for money, and treated like you are being done a massive favor then by all means, give you money to these cretons. 

There are dozens of other hotels on this street and the one parallel (The Thao Nhi is excellent) run by nice people that care about customers and customer experience. Pick one of those.

Regarding the physical aspects of the stay: half of the days there was drilling going on above my room (and I was NOT notified of this in advance) that was so loud that my Skype partners could NOT EVEN HEAR ME TALK OVER IT. That is embarassingly bad. The hotel is also next to a night club, that blasts music all night long (til about 2 or 3 am). There is an audible rumble of bass in the rooms.

All in all, the worst customer service of my life and being treated like dirt were enough to write a review (this is actually my first review....the service was so bad that I created an account just to write this review....after, of course, emailing the owner and talking to staff and telling them that a simple apology would prevent this review, but they told me: WE DONT CARE)
