I was worried about our 4 night stay here after reading the reviews. Gotta say that the stay was great,We had a great room and i wasnt disturbed by any noise and im a light sleeper. The breakfast buffet was nice as well. I know we didnt pay a lot for our 4 night stay so i  count it as a great deal and would tell people to give it a chance,staff were great also.

We booked this hotel to stay in on our first night in Vietnam. We are backpackers but wanted to start our trip off somewhere higher range as we had a late arrival after a long haul flight and were newbies to the backpacking game. The staff are really friendly and really happy to help eg storing our bags for a few hours after check out and exchanging money into smaller notes. The room was nice and clean, really quiet and free breakfast had a big variety. We had also requested to be on a higher floor to avoid noise and they did that for us. Would give it a 5 star except we found it is a little pricey considering what you can get at much cheaper hostels/hotels. However if you're not on a budget then you would have no worries. Location is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle so gives you a good authentic first experience of HCM rather than a touristy area.

Good for your first night in Ho Chi Minh City

Hello i write this review on few days i spend in there. Our hotel was good in general got nice looking rooms and nice breakfast , wifi was a bit slow but maybe depends on room you stay also location is not far from many cities attractions so its another pro of staying there. Overall its good hotel with good prices. Also be warned that like in many hotels in Vietnam they will keep your passport during your stay in there.

First visit to Vietnam

We booked a small room but got a big window, the room is so comfortable but  there one large sites in front of hotel will make noisy in the night.
This hotel is near centre and you could walk to famous place as Duc Ba Church, Independence Place, Nguyen Hue street...
Breakfast is good and staff is friendly and professional.
Dislike: Cleaning room is not good each day.

TTC is great hotel system

TTC hotel in saigon Dong Du street is location is good. Room was very tiny. The TV on the wall and end of bed is very narrow therefore if you are not careful you end up banging the TV. All necessary items are there but nothing worked during our stay. The TV never worked. The Electric kettle did not work despite complaining to receptionist in the morning. No toilet rolls even after informing to the room made. There is no proper inspection of room before guest check in therefore TV n kettle did not worked.
We informed during reservation to provide a higher floor room but they gave us room on the 2nd floor. The staff does not look at the reservation details at all, very poor operation and I booked this hotel to see how VN small operator manage but disaster.

Require extensive improvement

The room I stayed has a gap at the entrance door that can see through from corridor.  Smoke from corridor get into my room through the gap even though this is supposedly be non smoking room.  Breakfast was terrible of very low quality food.  
Worst was the excuse made by the staff for the room rate.  As I booked the room directly with the hotel website and I was required to make deposit 5% immediately.  Then upon checking in, the hotel charged me 100% of the rate and giving excuse of charge by the web which was the TTC Hotel web directly. Receipt of payment for charge by the web was not able to issue by the hotel.   I felt this is a real rip off.  DON'T BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE HOTEL.
The only good thing for this hotel is the location in central of the city.

Terrible Quality and Excused for Ripping off for Charged at Reservation

We choose this hotel because of the hotel in Can Tho which was very nice and good management.
The  TTC Saigon has a very poor breakfast for foreigners and the bacon (ham) was finished always or not at all , but you can have French Fries and corn.
If you like to  eat rice noodle soup, vegetables, corn,   jam ,  rice and egg perfect for you.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day,right? We ask at the kitchen for bacon and the answer was “not in the menu of today”and the guy get very unfriendly and upset .
The English language also very poor.
The staff at the reception was very helpful , very nice girls and friendly.Very good location also for the centre of the city and walking street.

Poor management of the hotel

The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that happens on the floor.  The bedroom door (for room 505) was obviously taken from another door frame as it didn't fit the one to our room. From outside you could see into the rooms through the gap between door and frame.  There were some drunk guests on our floor, when they slammed their door, the impact was so strong that our door jumped out of the socket.  Good thing the door alarms when not properly closed.  

The light control module was a nightmare too.  All lights automatically switched on at 3ish in the morning when everyone was sound asleep.  Scare the heck out of us!!  To make things worse, the lights could not be turned off.  After a struggling 15 minutes and completely awake at 3am in the morning, we finally managed to switch all lights off.  We requested that the control be repaired, but the control still acted funny.  Nevertheless, it did not lid up again in the middle of the night.

Tons of ants in the room and bathroom.  We were so afraid that we will be bringing home the ants.  We had to keep all food in the refrigerator to prevent ants attack.

Breakfast is buffet style, but with limited selection.  The staff watches you like a hawk while you have breakfast, which made my friend quite uncomfortable.  

One extra star for the location of the hotel.  Very central with a Starbucks in the corner.  All city attractions are within walking distance.  I would recommend hotel for its location, but not anything else.
