5 mins walking from Bui Vien walking street. located inside a quite old building. nice place. nice host, nice breakfast, nice room, nice view from bed. nice woman Ms. Liễu. nice talks and nice cigarettes of Mr. Han. already missed the place even when not having left yet. 
will be back soon <3

short trip to Sai Gon

I never regret booking here at Onetel. The roofdeck has a very nice view. Perfect while you wait for your breakfast!
The room was clean. Very huge bed and locker. Overall stay was awesome though it is not perfect for partying since the hostel is so quaint, good for relaxation after being so tired from a walking tour!

They also offer affordable tours in the front desk...

Charming Hostel

The room is clean, the staff is really friendly. The free breakfast served from 6 to 10 am. I stayed there for 1 night and the day I checked out, I asked to leave my stuffs there. They are so nice and friendly and help me out all of the stuff. Will definitely stay here again

A GOOD CHOICE FOR BACKPACKER

For me, Onetel is the best place to stay in Saigon! The Hostel is beautiful and clean and the staff and maneger were so helpfull and kind-my passport got stolen and they figured everything out and supported me like no one else!!! They made me feel at home!! Thank you guys for everything, it was a pleasure to meet you!

Best Hostel in the World!

We spent three nights here. Atypical hostel located at the top of an 8 level building, with rooftop access. Clean and comfy, with simple and nice decorations. Benefits from a stategical location, not too far from Bui Vien if you want to hang-out or plan an excursion in the vicinity, and in a very quiet street. Breakfast can be a little bit random, with no coffee sadly :(, but good overall quality. The team is helpful and welcoming, but seems to have a strange policy with passports (you will sometime need to insist a bit in order to get them back before checkout). Prices are very affordable. A very good adress.

Clean and comfy, great view

I stayed there one night and it's was a nice and clean place! 
Enjoyed the privacy you can have with the curtains .The rooftop is also appreciable.
But we were a little bit  dissapointed by the breakfast a bit too light and the locker you have to pay after you have checked out.

Really Clean and Nice Place

We arrived the hostel and we could not check-in because the door was closed. We went to third floor and try to get in by knocking the door and there was a guy who helped us to open the door from inside, then he told us to wait there for the receptionist but they did not show up anyway. We had to decide to leave after we check the bathroom and bedroom because of musty odor and lots of sand on the floor. Completely different with the photos on ads, not recomended.

reception + breakfast is in a different building.
2-story hostel (on the 8th and 9th, elevator goes to the 7th)
upper room (6 bed female dorm) is not like in photos and accessible via a narrow fire escape
bathroom and toilet dirty
washbasins dirty. at 1 the stop did not go out anymore
floor is dirty
asked for cleaning and after 2 times in one day it was still dirty
1 toilet for 6 pax. toilet paper is hanging outside the room
hard mattress and springs in my back
noisy through common area next to it
no power in shared space
kitchen block but nothing to use; no cutlery, cooking facilities or working fridge
if you want to ask something you have to go all the way down
breakfast = vietnamese (soup, noodles) and glass of water
pipes make a lot of noise.
lots of ants and a rat. Dogs walk around.

I had put my luggage there and was only just in time to pick it up because at 4pm they wanted to close the reception!

Dirty and inconvenient

I was about to check in when the receptionist started to give me attitude. I asked him what is with the attitude and he told me that he takes it (his attitude maybe?) very seriously, and I don't have to stay here. Basically kicked me out. So luckily I fount this out early on. I don't know what this guy was thinking, but he's clearly working in the wrong industry. He could make a nice nightclub bouncer.

Worst staff ever

We got an AirBnB but got surprised that we checked in this hostel.  They advertised a penthouse with city view.  They brought us to the next bldg. Oh my golly, first you pass through a garage of motorcycles to go to your elevator.  Then the elevator stops on the 7th floor. There’s flight of stairs to go to our room.  This was not mentioned in their description.   The penthouse was decent but not as we expected it.  One of the rooms’ walls leeked from the outside. They blamed it on the typhoon. The pillows and beds were wet. They said they did not have extra linens to change them and still blamed it on the typhoon. We slept on wet pillows and wet beds.  For a penthouse with 4 bedrooms there’s only one bathroom with two showers and two toilets. A Dorm type. Again not as expected nor advertised. They also ask you to leave your passport until you checkout. Good thing my friend just left her I.D.  Cause they misplaced it. They couldn’t find it anywhere. Can you imagine if they lost her passport?  They finally found it under their printer. She didn’t even file it or ensure its safe keeping.The next day, we transferred to another room cause we had a late flight. We couldn’t keep the penthouse, which by the way, had cat poo by the entrance, so we got a different room for the day. They didn’t give us towels. Again it was blamed on the typhoon.  They had to get towels from other rooms which didn’t have guests in them.  I know there’s a caveat for everything cheap that you pay for, but this is a lesson that you get what you pay for.  A cheap penthouse with view and roofdeck sounds too good to be true to believe it.
