We found this place looking for an alternative to our rather disappointing first nights choice. 
The owners are very friendly and welcoming, always greet you with a smile and run the place full time. The room was clean and basic, but everything we looked for. Laundry service was fast, they even sorted our socks for us. The tour they recommended was great and they did not overcharge (which as we learned some of their neighbors do...). 
Highly recommended!

Lovely host couple and clean room

Good location, no noise as the place is in a side street, easy to reach from airport.
The single room is very small, speak Hongkong stile. Cleanliness moderate. No soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toilet paper provided, no bum gun with the wc. Small towel was grey. The blanket was not covered by a sheet, a bit yucky. The walls needs some paint because of beer spills, cigarette burns. TV remote did not work - thus no tv.
The room is good for crashing a night. I came in in the evening and left in the morning. Longer stays will lead to claustrophobia. Tourists with a large backpack will easily find the room as being too small.

This 'no frills' guesthouse is somewhere to have a good night's sleep. If you are looking for a hotel experience then don't bother but then when you consider the vibrancy that surrounds this budget guesthouse, you will spend little time there anyway. 

The room is compact but there is a private ablution room. It is not a shower as such and I didn't bother to wait to find if hot water would gush. The cold water sufficed and I had a very peaceful night and I felt safe. The air conditioner was too cold (this is a complement) so I just used the fan. 

The family who own it are very attentive and always there. The little 'Diagon' alley on which the Y Nhi is situated should not put you off - it is full of charm and just really the flavour of what we all travel to experience; I am sure. 

The price of beer in the local area is so ridiculously low that you cannot afford not to drink. You haven't far to the pad anyway. The food is fantastic around the area. You always feel as if you are welcome. 

This guesthouse is about 20 minutes from the airport by taxi or on the back of a motorbike if you don't have luggage larger that 17 suitcase. The war museum is 30 minutes stroll. 

Please go and see the 'wonderful' city of Siagon as some of the locals still like to call it!. The pace is astounding, and seriously, you will never ever see so many motorbikes zipping around in an anarchy that is almost pure and simple!  You may even the same lady as I did,  perambulating, on her bicycle, through the mellay as if not a soul were about her!

It is clean, sufficient, compact, affordable and the owners are marvellous!

Stay in single privet room in 3-d and 4-th floor without windows. Both time sheets was dirty. Unpleasant smell in room. Rooms really tiny but cost 10usd. No hot water but was promised. Location is good and boy on reception was also friendly. But I could the same about his boss - old lady, very rude person.

Dirty place, rude owner

Arrived to the guest house and asked for a room, the woman asked me how much I'm willing to pay I said 13$ seems like a fair price . She said ok and showed me the room on the first floor. The room wasn't clean and it seems they didn't change the sheets .. anyhow I wanted to pay with 50$ bill and she gave me back the change and charged me for $14 ! I told her we agreed on 13$ and she said with laugh it's just one dollar!! Very rude .. I didn't want to argue over a dollar but it's really unfair. 

Moreover, when I wanted to leave the room I've noticed it's not possible to close the door cause it was broken. The owner told me don't worry I'm here to keep on your stuff. No thank you I said and I insisted to get a room where I can close the door ! It took hour or so until the fixed it and I could go outside ! 

Awful experience wouldn't recommend to anyone !
