We stayed here as a way to go to the national park for a few days and was an absolutely amazing experience. The family were so accommodating and kind to us, we rented motorbikes from them and then was only a short ride to the park. The food was amazing and the hut that we stayed in was beautiful. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in this area

Beautiful place to stay with full amenities too

We had a very pleasant stay with this super nice family. We stayed for 2 nights to visit the nearby Cuc Phuong park. 
The family is very welcoming and make you feel right at home. They also serve nice local food whenever you want. 
We rented a motorbike from the owner to explore, gas included. The bungalows are very spacious, mosquito nets provided. The owner also helped us to book a local bus back to Hanoi that picked us up in front of the homestay. 
Beware of the little kitten running around that cuddels with everyone haha. 
We highley reccomend this place when exploring this area and the cuc phuong park.
Note: you can book either a bungalow with this family or a ground floor hotel room (same grounds, different name on maps).

Very friendly family and nice bungalows

It’s the perfect place to have a goodnight rest after a drive from Mai Chau or Pu Luong national park. When I got here the owners were so friendly they upgraded me from a dorm to a bungalow for myself. Food is really good and the host speaks English and makes you feel so welcome. Good spot if you want a quiet night and relax for a bit.

Perfect place to relax

What an incredible stay at the Cuc Phuong Hotel we just had! The owner upgraded us to a beautiful bungalow as it's pretty quiet this time of year. It was super clean, cozy and peaceful listening to the bugs outside as you sleep. It's open to the outside, but it makes it a part of the unique experience. There are outlets, lights and all you need inside! The porch is also quite lovely with little hammocks to relax in. 

The owner and his family are incredibly kind and cooked delicious and cheap meals for us each night and morning. 

The location is perfect, as it's only a 10-15 minute drive away from the gorgeous national park. The national park is quite eerie as there aren't that many people and things are a bit outdated, but that just adds to the excitement of it all! We felt like we were in Jurassic Park the entire time. 

This was hands down one of our favourite experiences in Vietnam! Visit Cuc Phuong and stay at the Cuc Phuong Hotel!!

Amazing Peaceful Retreat!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cuc Phoung Hotel. It’s a great place to stay if your looking to get off the beaten path. We stayed in a bungalow, which I recommend. It’s rustic, but also quite comfortable and well-built. The hot water works great, the beds are comfortable and the grounds are well maintained. The owners are a family and are super friendly and welcoming.  They have a small menu and cook for you.  All the food we had there was really tasty and well-cooked. Definitely go for the banana pancakes for breakfast. You can also rent bikes and scooters from the hotel to explore the area and park. I recommend renting scooter and exploring the area around the park. It’s a beautiful part of the country and exploring it by scooter was amazing.  It’s a slow pace in these parts of the country, but great for exploring a bit, then going back to the hotel and reading in the afternoon/evening. I highly recommend this place!

Lovely place to stay to get off the beaten path

I spent two nights here, the family were lovely and helpful. There are options on the menu for vegetarians and vegans. There is relaxed vibe and it is very near to the national park. Thankyou Luan and family!

Great place to chill & very close to the national park

We were staying in the hostel for a couple of days and had the most relaxing days in Vietnam. We stayed in the hammocks in front of our really beautifull hut we were staying in or drove with the scooters of the hotel to the Nationalpark for spending the day there.
So we totally recommend the hotel. It was the best we had in Vietnam. 

We were hosted by a Family there, who were really friendly and who totally make you feel welcome. 

Great hotel

Luan and Thuy offer home style Vietnamese living and dining with charm. We opted for the open air cabins, which come with mosquito netting and fans but they also have air conditioned comfort for warmer weather accommodation and hostel acc. for back packers. The hotel is both great for a relaxing getaway, and also a base for exploring the local Cuc Phuong National Park and sight seeing around the Ninh Binh area, once described as Ha Long Bay on land. Thoroughly recommend.

Rustic charm 

We stayed in one of the bungalows at this hotel. The bungalow was very autentic with bamboo walls and roof. The bathroom inside the bungalow is semi-private, meaning that there are no door and only a half wall separating it from the rest of the bungalow. The bed was very very hard, however it did have a nice mosquito-net so that insects would not disturb our sleep. There are many roosters in the area close by and they make a lot of noise in the early morning hours. Otherwise, a nice quiet place to stay and visit the Cuc Phuong area. The host was also very helpful and sweet. Mountainbikes can be rented for 100.000 VND. Local bus goes to Hanoi from the hotel in the morning and cost around 100.000 VND per person if the hosts help you. We felt that one day in this area was enough as there is not much to see.
